OK. I already have a poll out on this but I was wondering how we are effected by binging. No, I'm not talking about eating but about watching/reading. Do you binge-watch TV? Do you binge-read your favorite book series? And if you do either, how do you feel about it? Some people have actually said that "binging" ruins the experience for them. I heard a lot of that with Breaking Bad because it didn't give enough "simmer" time to see the slow progression from mild-mannered to evil.

I do that all the time with TV. I get really impatient waiting for the new episodes and normally end up giving up watching it half way through. I try my best to just wait until it hits Netflix so I can just watched everything at once.

But I understand how it might ruin it. Like you said did doesn't really give you time to let the episode "simmer" for a bit so it give you time to think about it all. Then when big dramatic things happen it might make you think it's not believable because it all seems too fast.

Yeah, right. Now for me,I do a lot of binging too. I did binge watch Breaking Bad simply because I could never figure out when they were going to have new episodes for one. The second reason was because I actually first saw it when they were already on the episode of the plane crash which was very far into the series at that time. So, there are pros and cons to it.
