Sarah | 18550 comments Pics are great especially the slug!

My list is likely to change hugely too Almeta, especially if I read book 1 in the series then realise I want to read all of them before moving on to the next book I had originally planned. At least they should also qualify so it won't mess things up too much (I hope).

Why of course...I snarfled from different places myself!

I had a list of doorstops already shelved, and started at two this morning putting the connections together...Not Easy ☻☻☻

I will get to the links eventually!

Almeta (menfrommarrs) | 11502 comments Rusalka wrote: "Isn't it in the spoiler?"

no :(

BUT

because of the first word in the spoiler, "Hole", I was able to determine that that would have to connect to Jo Nesbø's Harry Hole.

Working backward, to The Bat, those above it had to have "Bat" in their titles as well.

Which took me as far as Bats at the Library by Brian Lies

So I then remembered The Lies of Locke Lamora was one I wanted to read.

The last word in the previous section is "ship", which I used to find the most recent book addition with "ship"....and then on to recent addition of "company" to "liars".

I think that I actually got it right!!!

Pages are a problem, especially if the number is near the 500-mark.

I kept a separate computer window open to my library, so that I could check which edition they would have for me to borrow.

We'll see. Those series reads may not all get done. If they don't keep me occupied, I will not read a full dozen!

That will change things dramatically.☻

The Shardlake series has lots of pages, an especially long story, if read back to back. I hope we enjoy it.☻

I had The Cuckoo's Calling once before and had to return it to the library unread.

Just finished Bellman & Black: A Ghost Story . Hard to evaluate. Diane Setterfield is a talented writer.

I liked Michael Connelly's writing. Don't know why I haven't read more of him, afterall he writes in a favorite genre of mine.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, it encourages me not to change my mind! I'm glad Blood Work fit into my early plans! I have a couple more of Connelly's connected, but at "Infinity and Beyond".
