Claire looked around the train car in awe. She'd grown up in the wealthiest District. In the wealthiest part of District 1. But nothing there compared to the food here.

Annika climbed in. She saw a tribute looking around the train with a look of awe on her face.
Claire looks over at her mentor who just entered. She gripped the hem of her skirt tightly and smiled politely.
Annika smiles back. "Claire Swan? Is it not?" without waiting for an answer, she continues. "I'm your mentor for the Hunger Games, Annika Sedan."
"Uh, hi," She didn't really know what to saw. Claire just kinda stood there, staring like an idiot. She'd never really met a victor, save the few that gave presentations or weapon demonstrations. She'd never actually held a conservation.
"Have a seat please, Ms. Swan. And allow me to order you something to eat or drink." Annika offers.
Claire just nodded and sat down quickly. Her hands were still clenching her skirt to the point where her knuckles were white.
Annika has a seat, and decided to ask about the games. She pulls out a sheet of paper from her pocket. "Please fill this out, and answer honestly" she requests.

Claire took the paper and scanned over it quickly before taking a pen and writing out in neat cursive the answers:Question #1) Should the games happen or not. Why?
Of course not, it's just wrong. Kids killing kids. I understand that people need to keep order, but something like this is just wrong.
Question #2) Are you or are you not comfortable in the games
Though I do not agree fully with the Games, I am comfortable with them somewhat, but in any situation where killing is concerned is a bit, odd. I'm confident in my abilities.
Question #3) Have you ever seen the live games from the arena?
I have never actually seen them.
Question #4) Are you confident about the interview, or do you need any pointers on confidence and answers?
I believe that I would do fine, but some advice would be much appreciated.
Question #4) Who will you trust in the games?
I don't think I will trust much of anyone. My allies I may trust a little, but no, I will not give them my full trust. Just enough to know that I won't get a knife in the back while I sleep.
Question #5) Give me your personality in words
I would have to say that I'm not particularly outgoing, but I'm not shy. I think that I am quite nice, but it doesn't take much to make me turn on someone. Though I will have to admit that I can be cruel sometimes.
Annika watches Claire answer the question, and takes the paper from her. "Thank you, I appreciate it," she says as she scans over the paper. She takes a pen out of her jeans and makes a few notes on the paper which she then slips into her pocket.
Claire watches her write on the paper and as it slipped into the locket into her jeans. She opened her mouth, then closed it. She was never good at making conversation.
"Excuse me for a moment please," she says to Claire as she gets up and walks farther down the train hall. She takes out her cell phone.
Claire puts her hands in her lap. She tugged at her curls which were slowly straightening themselves out.
Annika calls the Capitol. "Hello? No, yes, a good pick. I don't know, did he survey. Extra, to test. An hour more? Ok, thanks," she says to President Snow before hanging up.
Claire's eyes followed Annika. She listened in on the conversation before straightening her blouse and sitting up a bit taller.
She speed-walks down the train hall and sits across from Claire one more time. She picks up a pastry and take a bite.
((Whoops, sorry guess it never posted))Claire looked around the room before clearing her throat," So, um... Uh," she racked her brain for something to say.
((That's OK, happened to me before lots of times:) ))
"Well, first of all, what would you like advice on?"
"Well, first of all, what would you like advice on?"
Claire smiled. Combat was down for her it was survival skills she needed work on," Survival skills, definitely."
"A common one, I was never a survival person." Annika remarks.
"Is there a certain climate? Mountains, storms, drought, snow?"
"Is there a certain climate? Mountains, storms, drought, snow?"
"Let's start with mountains, they are one of the coldest areas of the arena.
In the mountain part of the arena, it is best to never climb for more than 5 hours a day as it is very cold up there, and oxygen levels get much lower as you climb higher. If you must climb, which I recommend not to, you want to have supplies that you can easily light a fire with, and some sort of shelter for the nights. You have to stay alert on the mountains, there are many predators, like mountain lions, vultures, and very large and abnormal monkeys and bats which may kill you if they see it necessary."

Claire nodded, soaking the information in. She silently repeated the important notes back to herself.
"And in the occasion that you are near by a frozen lake or water source of any kind, it can be risky to try to break the ice as they have very dangerous and carnivorous fish hidden in certain parts of the river. But keep in mind, it's only in certain parts, in the south water source areas they tend to have normal and edible fish that are good for especially frigid nights."
"One more thing to cover; when it snows. If it snows, you never want to be near trees, as the tree branches cover in snow quickly. Within the first five hours of heavy snowfall, the tree branches will become very heavy and fall-on you if you are close by. It is best to find a cave or someplace made of solid rock for shelter- but you must beware that the bears that inhabit the caves will come out and guard the caves from the point of view that you will not be able to see them. They do not want any creature to enter the caves for they hide and protect valuable weapons that are perfect for hunting animals, but not people."
"Anything else at all?" Annika questions.
Annika nodded and sipped her tea.
