I found The Nutmeg Tree to be absolutely hilarious. In fact, anything by Margery Sharp is always entertaining.

I just came across this one~
and since my dad was career Air Force and he got transferred like every 18 months, until his last 4 years in the service, we were always moving. Plus he got 30 days paid vacation every year!
We travelled all over the western U.S., but Wisconsin(his parent's home) and Chicago IL(visit to Natural History Museum and Chicago zoo), was as far east as we went.

I am looking forward to a trip down memory lane with this one!

The Nutmeg Tree is okay so far. I'm 20% of the way through. I've had a few chuckles. Really need something hilarious.
