Faith led the twins into the Makeshift workout room and showed them the equipment.

Lily looked at the equipment, before looking at Faith for instruction.

"Cool..." Luka said in amazement.

"Alright, first I'm gonna wrap your hands, So they stay protected, What color do you guys want? I have, red, black, blue and green" She said.

"Blue!" Luka answered quickly.

"Red please" Lily answered quietly.

Faith nodded and wrapped their hands in their chosen colors. Then she wrapped her own hands with the dark green wraps. "Okay, step up to your bag" She instructed.

Both twins picked a bag.

"Punch like this" She said showing them how to punch slowly, "Never tuck your thumb inside your fist or it'll wind up broken" She said showing them.

Lily watched Faith's movements closely and copied them, she was near perfect.

Luka watched and tried to punch, but did a much worse job then Lily.

Faith smiled a little and helped Luka.

Lily continued to practice what she had seen Faith do.

Luka smiled, and tried again doing a better job after a few tries.

Faith nodded and watched them.

Lily stopped after practicing for a few moments, she was tired.

"Time for a break?" She asked Lily.

Lily nodded and sat down.

Luka skipped over and sat with Lily.

Faith smiled and started her own work out on the Heavy bag while the kids rested.

Lily watched Faith, she was interested in the fighting.

Faith continued working out her muscles, feeling more relaxed after she stopped to take a break.

Lily clapped, and smiled at Faith. She was really warming up to the older female.

Faith moved her hair out of her face, and looked down with her good eye, Her bad eye was still hidden.

Lily watched Faith, with observant eyes.

Faith took a drink and brushed her hair back and glanced around her blind eye flashing a little.

Lily caught a quick glimpse of Faith's blind eye, having learned to notice little things.

Faith stopped looking around and leaned against one of the support beams of the house.

"Why are you here?" Lily asked quietly.

"I heard from a friend that this was the place to go if I was in over my head, My foster father threatened to kill my kid sister if I raised a hand to defend myself again, So I ran. My Foster siblings never got beat before so I knew they'd be safe." Faith said.

Lily listened, thinking about her family. She could hear Luka crying in her mind and her screams for mercy, both their cries fell on deaf ears.

"You both are safe here, I ain't gonna let nothin happen to you okay?" Faith promised them.

Luka nodded, accepting it quickly. He chose not to remember what got him here.

Lily looked away "You don't have to" She murmured.

"Yes I do" Faith said with a nod.

"No one else has, you don't need to protect us" Lily said, her voice getting louder.

"Just because nobody else has doesn't mean you shouldn't be, It's not right for kids to be beaten" Faith said.

At these words, Lily began to cry. Her whole life she thought being beaten was normal and okay.

Luka hugged Lily "Its okay" He said.

Faith hugged them both swearing to protect them.

Luka looked sad himself "They hated us, I tried to help Lily but they wouldn't let me" He told Faith.

Lily continued to cry.

"Your a good brother" Faith told him as she hugged them both.

"Lily needed it, daddy did bad things" Luka replied.

Faith nodded as she hugged them. "Wish I'd had a brother like you, Wish I had a brother period" She said.

Lily pulled out of the hug, and went to the other side of the room.

Faith knew she probbably needed some time alone, "I'm gonna be on the back porch" She told them.

Lily looked at them, she really didn't want anyone with her at the moment not even her twin.

"Can I come?" Luka asked.

"If you want" Faith said with a shrug, after looking at Lily.

Luka nodded and stood up.

Lily stared back, her eyes telling Faith to leave.

Faith nodded and walked up the stairs and left the basement.

Al walked downstairs, pulling out her purple medical tape. She wrapped we hands, then went up to the punching bags, letting out her anger and remorse into the bag.
