Fairy Tail vol 31 by Hiro Mashima

Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout. I want to read it before the movie comes out. I loved Elizabeth Strout's other novel, The Burgess Boys.

, third book in the Samuel Johnson series.

I am starting Someone Else's Love Story by Joshilyn Jackson. Look for the KDL group video about it in January.

I am finiswhing up "Best Kept Secret" by Jeffrey Archer, starting "Zealot" by Reza Aslan, & listening to "Map of Lost Memories" by Kim Fay.

I'm in the middle of The Year of Shadows by Claire Legrand. Loving it so far! I highly recommend her previous book, The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls.

I'm almost done with Silent on the Moors by Deanna Raybourn. I usually don't read series, but I love Lady Julia (the main character)!

Darkness Falls by Cat Tiernan - second in a series; has good humor but I hope something interesting happens soon!

Just past the middle of Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarity and I finally know the secret! Now to keep reading to find out what is going to happen with the secret. Good characters with some quirky unexpected twists.

Just finished The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. Loved it!

I just wrapped up Ellen Degeneres's "Seriously...I'm Kidding" and have three other audiobooks waiting for my attention first thing in 2014~

Just finished "The Days of Blood and Starlight" by Laini Taylor. Sequel to "Daughter of Smoke & Bone". Loved it!

I am reading Someone Else's Love Story by Joshilyn Jackson, so far like not love, but I have heard good things about the last third of the book.

Stories All-New Tales edited by Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio

I finished "Zealot" -- interesting take on the "historical Jesus." Don't know that I agree with all his conclusions, but it was an interesting read. Gave up on "Map of Lost Memories." It was OK, but not complelling to me. In the meantime I've finished "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio -- fabulous! -- & am starting on "W is for Wasted" by Sue Grafton.

I just started Fosse by Sam Wasson, a biography of Bob Fosse that made a lot of the best in 2013 lists.

I'm reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Again. I just love this book.

"Burial Rites" by Hannah Kent. Really enjoying it! "The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion is up next.

I'm reading Life after Life by Kate Atkinson and also Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. Really liking them both!

I just finished The Boy on the Porch by Sharon Creech.... And now i kind of want to start at the beginning and read it again. Beautifully written.

Currently reading The Whole Golden World by Kristina Riggle – this book by a Michigan author and set in Michigan is inspired by a true story.

When I finish TWGW I’ll be one book behind my “2014 reading challenge” goal of 2 books a week.

I'm currently reading Reality Boy, by A.S. King. It's a very powerful story about a teenage boy who became famous (infamous, really) when his family starred in a reality TV show when he was younger. He has to come to terms with his catastrophically dysfunctional family and his unconventional upbringing. A.S. King is an amazing storyteller, and I loved her previous book, Everybody Sees The Ants.

Still Alice by Lisa Genove. Ali and I will be doing our next book chat video about it. So far, so good, but I am just starting. About a very together fifty year old woman getting early onset alzheimer's.

Finished Fosse - fascinating look at a complicated and insecure artist.

Still Alice by Lisa Genova. Ali and I will be doing our next book chat video about it. So far, so good, but I am just starting. About a very together fifty year old woman getting early onset alzheimer's disease.

Oryx and Crake by Atwood

How are you liking Oryx and Crake? I was confused at first, and I never warmed to Snowman as a narrator. The next book in the series was better, I thought. (I can't think of the title right now.)

I'm reading The Orchardist right now, which is alright, and Fire, by Kristin Cashore. I don't frequently get completely pulled in by YA novels, but Fire is very intriguing. Especially for the second book in a series.

I have been plodding through the book but have kept with it hoping that it would grow on me. Glad to hear that book 2 is better.

This is one of my all time favorite books! I love this author! I liked her book Love Anthony even more than Still Alice!

I'm reading Under the Wide and Starry Sky by Nancy Horan....so far so good!

I am reading "& Sons" by David Gilbert. It is slow going, but an interesting study in family relationships. Also, I'm listening to "The Art of Hearing Heartbeats" by Jan-Phillipp Sendker, which I am enjoying very much.

"Ripper" by Isabel Allende. Love her. This one is very different from "Island Beneath the Sea", the last one of hers I read, which was from a different time and place. This one is very contemporary. So far, drawn in.

"Enrique's Journey" by Sonia Nazario, and "The Rooftoppers" by Katherine Rundell. And, I'm listening to "Treachery in Death" by J.D. Robb.

By the end of the book, I was convinced this must be satire. I hadn't read any reviews or press before hand, and was relieved to see that it kind of was. It makes me want to reread with that in mind.

Reading and it's really good so far!

Just starting Mannequin Girl. I'm in 18 pages and loving it.

Finished Cracks and did a mini review of it on my book review blog-I included it as part of a new monthly feature I'm doing, where I give my KDL branch, Walker, a bit of a shout out :) Check it out!
