thank Alison. I was trying to use the month around the world for my yearly goal and place all books read into it. I am quickly realizing I may have set my goal of 55 for the year too low. I'm am just concern that I won't hit the monthly goal during my busy months...I guess that is why they call it a challenge ;)
So here I go...I have finished all my books for January so I now have a plan...I am going to begin the longest book on my February list, that way it will be February when I finish it. Then I am going to read the two short books on my list which will free me up for all the group reads and books of the month. It feels good to have a plan :)
2014's A-Z Challenge o.n.e.Duration: January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014 (One Year)
Use Author Names as the criteria. Your qualifying books must be written by an author whose first OR last name represents each letter of the alphabet.
One book per letter, and one letter per book, please! You can use the same author multiple times as long as they fit the criteria and as long as you use different books by said author. Please name the author and the book, plus the date you finished reading it. You can also share your rating if you'd like. For difficult letters, such as Q and X, if you have a hard time finding authors who fit, post here and ask for help! I'll accommodate you however I am able.

DONE!!! 10/10
(view spoiler)
I have now updated all my kindle books onto goodreads! Whew!!!!What I discovered:
1. I have too many unread books (1539)(READ = 629)
2. I'm a junky for free books.
3. I'm a junky for romance/erotica books.
4. I do base a book by it's cover.
5. I need to change my randomizer challenge to include only owned books.
6. Goodreads has helped me diversify my reading interest.
7. Goodreads needs a shelf besides "READ", "Want To Read", they need "MIGHT WANT TO READ" or "OWN BUT NOT SURE WHY"

Goal: to read a book published for every year in your life. Still here reading?
Very basic rules: If you are in your 20's, you are given a year to complete it, in your 30's a year and a half, in your 40's 2 years. Add six months for every extra decade.
Your clock starts ticking the moment you post your list whether that's done before you start or as you go along whichever suits your needs.
