What do you think of Severus Snape? Do you like him, hate him or do you feel neutral about him?

I love/hate him. I love him for how he loved Lily, and how brave and selfless he was.But I hate him bcause of how he treated his students, esp Neville.

Yeah, same. But I really admire how selfless he was and he kind of played a part in setting nevilles personality, so even though I kind of hate him for it, neville wouldnt have turned out the same if not for snape

I loved Snape since the very beginning. It was sort of funny because my brother thought he was all evil but then in the end I was just like oooooooh because he was actually nice (and then I frowned and refrained from crying because crap he's dead) . ^^ Snape's the best.

He is awesome. During the whole series you hope he's good, and them you almost KNOW he's bad, but it turns out that he was good all along, but now that you know that, he's dead. I feel SO sorry for him, and can see why he hated Harry's dad. And I cried when I heard the memories that he gave Harry before he died. I'm talking about the books, not the movies.

I like his character but I don't like him or his choices or anything. But that's the thing. When an author gets me to hat a character term which as much loathing as I would hate a person in real life then they're just brilliant!
