What are some good Sci-fi books that you think others should read?

Maybe I should have put partials here instead... I can never tell the difference between sci-fy and distopian...
Well dystopian is in a futuristic setting where the government is extremely controlling and stuff...but I don't exactly know what qualifies as Sci-fi XD
Hmm then partials is dystopian... But at my library the book had a sci-fi sticker..: oh well it works either way I guess XD
