The Kindle Chronicles discussion

If you have any involvement with Kindles in the classroom, I think you will find this week's interview with English teacher Meg Griswold fascinating. She teaches at an all-girls independent school, Harpeth Hall, in Nashville. Her enthusiasm and energy as a teacher are obvious, and she has taken a no-nonsense approach to using the Kindle for PC app in her classes. I hope folks at Amazon tune in to this one, because she has some terrific suggestions for improvements that would make the Mac and PC apps more useful to teachers.

Listened late last night and heard you mention the amazon 4 payment plan for hdx. So of course, I bought one using it. Why not? No finance charges and spread out payments. After I hit the buy button within 15 minutes amazon sent me an email about the program (as if I had not bought one). The email said they were only offering it to folks with amazon accounts over 2 years old. Not sure if that's true but FYI.

Interesting, Dan. Was yours over two years old? It would have been better to disclose that requirement up front, IMO. Thanks for the info.
