Ever sat a little tensely on a wooden chair in the corner of the sitting room. She had not yet met this year's tributes, even for her district.

((As no tributes arrived... XD))

Ever took an elevator down to the Training level. Through the glass, she could see that the other elevator was stopped... with Fifi inside.

She could save her... But no. She wasn't THAT stupid.

But it would be awful for Fifi if she didn't...

Perfect.

Ever didn't spare it another thought.

She stomped her foot. She could see someone in the other elevator... Completely ignoring her. How wonderful.

---------------Later that Day------------------

Ever rose up in the elevator, again, and saw Fifi.

She was sitting on the floor of the elevator. It was hot in here... And she was hungry... And thirsty...

Ever sighed. She wouldn't be able to leave her in there, forever... She pressed a green button behind a panel in her own elevator, causing it to freeze just next to Fifi's.

She looked up, and saw Ever. "Tomato thrower," she muttered.

Ever opened up a secret panel and stepped out into the air, holding onto the elevator with one hand.

...what...?

Ever rolled her eyes and swung along the wires strung between to two elevators. It wasn't like she'd never done this before...

Her eyes creased in puzzlement.

When Ever reached Fifi's elevator, she kicked open a hatch and climbed inside, closing it behind her before Fifi could do something stupid, like jump out of it.

She tilted her head to the side.

Ever rolled her eyes. If it came down to it, she had stashed a few tomatoes in a container in her jacket pocket.

((XD oh dear...))

She looked at her expectantly. "Well?"

"Well..." Ever sighed, then wrapped an arm around Fifi's waist. "Hold on. If you let go, I'm not going to catch you."

"What?"

Ever rolled her eyes, again. "Would you rather stay in the elevator forever?"

"No..."

"Okay, then," Ever said firmly, before swinging her and Fifi's bodies out of the elevator.

She let out a yelp, grabbing onto Ever.

Ever began to climb toward the other elevator, pretending to slip a few times just to hear Fifi shriek.

She took tight, sharp breaths.

Eventually, they got to the other elevator. Ever let her grip on Fifi go slack for a few seconds.

She grabbed on tighter.

Ever finally swung her into the elevator.

She sank to the ground in relief.

Ever pressed a few buttons, and the elevator began to make its way down to the ground floor.

She sighed with relief.

Ever pulled out her tomatoes and smashed one in Fifi's hair, just because of all the trouble she'd went to.

"You just had to do that, didn't you?" She asked tightly.

Ever nodded, shrugging a shoulder.

"Wonderful."

Ever nodded.

She sighed.
