Some people think they are bad, and they go against Christianity, i'm like, Whatever. Believe what you want, but what's bad about them?

A lot of Christians are against Wizards in general. And also, I think that Harry Potter has been stereotyped as a non-Christian "evil! Stay away!" kind of book for a lot of people. My mom did research, and some even take it to the extreme with misinterpretation. They say that his scar is a Satanic S and he talks to demons in disguise or something like that....which is not true and not intended. When I read them I saw the Christian themes coming through because of Rowling's background. Friendship, self-sacrifice, love. But it can be a stumbling block for Christians, so each to their own. I adore Harry Potter. But if others don't, that's okay.

I've been told by one of my friends thatI'm sinning by reading them. But my best friend is my preacher's daughter and they all love the Harry Potter series

It's not a sin to read them. It's a sin to start waving around a wand and say that you'd rather believe in witches and wizards than in God.

I love harry potter series and see nothing wrong with them.It shows love and friendship etc. Now if you read them and become obsessed and start actually believing your a wizard then you probably need to read something else
