Thanks Michelle. Don't mean to be a party pooper but I probably won't be reading it. Not my kind of book at all. But for those of you who will enjoy!!!
That's ok Elaine. It's actually very much my kind of book so I'm a bit excited and hope I get a chance to read it!
Hopefully there will be another one suited more to your liking next time :-)

Well maybe now is your chance! I need to finish Doctor Sleep first and then I'm going to try and pick this one up for a bit and see how I go.

I finally started this the other night and don't really know what to think so far. It didn't really start off the way I was expecting so I'm keen to see how it plays out.
I haven't done so well in making much of a dent in this book unfortunately. It just hasn't grabbed me like I was hoping so I'm only around 13% in.
I'm too stubborn to give up though so will keep persisting with it to the end, slowly but surely!

So, I've finally started making some real progress in this book and it really has significantly improved.
I wasn't too impressed by the beginning but once it finally warmed up I've been having a hard time putting it down.
I remember having similar feelings when I started reading the first Game of Thrones and ended up absolutely loving that so hopefully the same thing will happen here!
It's such a loooong book though but I'm hoping to have it finished very soon now.

I'm finally on the home stretch of this book now and am keen too see how it finishes. Boy, it's been a long journey for me to get this finished and I've had lots of mixed feelings so I'm really hoping the end proves to be worth it.

Please put any discussions on this book in this thread and please also be aware that there could be spoilers.
Happy Reading!!
