You should add "11 Minutes Ago." It was and indie movie from 2007 that was shot in one day. A guy comes back from the future to the same party for eleven minute increments, but not in chronological order. I thought it was really well done especially considering how low budget it was.
I originally saw it on Netflix but I'm not sure it's on there anymore. Worth it if you can find it anywhere.

THanks Nathan buts its not available unfortunately :(
I'll try look for it elsewhere, sounds good.

Timerider and Twice Upon a Yesterday will expire in 4 Days on Hulu. I think that would be New Years Day.

Timerider is a very average made for TV movie but some ridiculous time looping going on in there which would be fun to discuss if you do watch it.
I havent seen Twice Upon a Yesterday yet but will try catch this before it disappears

Twice Upon a Time on Hulu expires in 9 hour folks. It was a very good romcomdrama, quite British, I had expanded my thoughts on it in "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" thread but I give it a 7.5/10 rating.
Timerider also expires in 9 hours but its a sillier and more duller movie, still worth a watch for some amusing moments and an outrageous ending.

There is a new film on Netflix called:
Time Lapse
http://www.netflix.com/title/80047634
I have just seen it and its definitely worth a watch for us time travel geeks to take it apart. Its an intriguing premise, although not a new one if you are familiar with certain episodes of the vintage Twilight Zone series, or indeed an early Ewen McGregor movie, Shallow Grave.
Its about 3 young people stumbling upon a machine that can take a photo of the future.
The problem for me with this movie is in its execution, very bland dialogue and its too damn long at 1hr46mins. I think a good 15-20mins could have been cut from it. Its a very cynical movie with somewhat unappealing characters and could have done with some sprinkle of dark humour or something to peck it up, then perhaps the running time may not have felt so long.
But as with many films of this kind that have pacing issues, they usually make up for it in the last act and this one nearly does that too with a pretty good time travel related spin and a tense build up.
As I say worth a watch, good albeit unoriginal premise, intriguing time travel elements for us to discuss (particularly in last act) but need to wait a bit too long for the story to get to its next step.

Another time travel film that you can watch on Netflix right now, is a very glossy, very Hollywood high concept albeit scientifically dumb movie starring pretty face Hollywood stars: Ben Afleck, Uma Thurman, Aaron Eckhart and not so pretty but likeable Paul Giamatti called:
Paycheck
http://www.netflix.com/search/paycheck
Its based on yet another Philip K Dick short Story so that should pique some of your interest.
Its enjoyable and I didnt realise time travel was involved but it is...in some way that I leave for you to find out. Its all glossy and quite run of the mill, man on the run style movie but its dumb fun with likeable stereotypical goodies and baddies.
The concept is really intriguing but scientifically implausible.
I give this an entertaining enough 7/10.

Another film to watch on Netflix is an Adam Sandler film called
Click
http://www.netflix.com/search/click
I am absolutely NOT a fan of Adam Sandler's delivery of comedy. He just doesnt appeal to me. Did you know he is the current top paid actor in Hollywood? Its probably because he is also a producer but still, I am probably in the minority who doesnt take to him. I did like Wedding Singer though. When he is mild, he is likeable.
So I watched Click with very low expectations and a sense of duty to bare up with what could be an awful comedy which might, I suspected, have a form of time travel. The setup is that Sandler is quite the schmuck as a husband and father, and in a Homer Simpson style endeavour, seeks a universal remote control to operate his Tv and home lights without getting up from the sofa. The first half hour of the film is standard childish, rude humour and is absolutely racist and sexist. But I have to admit, I laughed out loud at several moments as the comic timing is flipping great and often vicious. I am ashamed because there is clear racial insults going on here. Christopher Walken enters the stage in a hilariously caricatured version of himself. He's completely sending himself up...so funny and quite pivotal to Sandler's story as he bestows on Sandler a very special prototype remote control. And from there begins a surprisingly epic, heart wrenching and emotional journey of life.
And before you ask why am I including this film in the time travel group...well because it absolutely belongs.
8/10 for effectiveness in heart rendering story telling, acting from Adam Sandler and laugh out loud comedy. BUT does the racial and sexist stereotype bordering on insult deserve such high ratings? You be the judge. I do apologise for enjoying the hell out of this film.

One more film to watch on Netflix...or in all honesty, one to ABSOLUTELY AVOID is
Iceman.
http://www.netflix.com/watch/80003479...
A Hong Kong movie about a Ming Dynasty warrior waking up 400 years later to find himself in the twenty first century but still intent to clear his name of treason while a band of warriors search for him AND a Hindu deity's penis that gives the holder the power to time travel.
If that premise sounds stupid to you and you like stupid and weird then you might like this but I warn you, this film is all over the place, sometimes stupid, then suddenly turns grittily violent with awful fight scenes. Its tone is jarring. The fight scenes are way below average (though finale is quite fun) , has too much wirework and although I am a massive long time fan of the star, Donny Yen (who will be in the new star wars movies), he cant save this awful film for me.
Worse, it ends in a cliff hanger, obviously thinking it deserves a sequel which looks to involve time travel back to the Ming Dynasty and changing history.
Not recommended.

Just a note -- I'm thoroughly enjoying the 11.22.63 Hulu exclusive. They've done three episodes so far. I think it's going to be a total of eight episodes.
Synchronicity is available to watch on Netflix and having watched it last night, I really enjoyed this and recommend it to the rest of you TT fans.
https://www.netflix.com/watch/8007591...
Its got an average 5/10 rating rating on IMDB but I think you will enjoy this if you like a reasonably chunky time travel yarn in the vein of Predestination, and Primer. Its fairly easy to follow the time travelling plot, unlike the ridiculously complex Primer that required a degree student to draw up diagrams of its plot. Synchronicity's TT plot is straightforward on the whole but nicely nice sliced up to maintain suspense. Performances are sincere and story is very engaging and mysterious. Everything is all explained making this a satisfying film to watch, narrative-wise BUT the film also tacks on an ending that is meant to be a some sort of twist but felt stupid and unnecessary, I was quite happy for it to end before that.
Being an indie movie, it doesnt have a huge budget but its nevertheless a polished production with a distinct dark matte urban sci fi feel. It lacks flair for humour and action but I think the film delivers an excellent engaging TT story on a B movie budget.

Just watched another time travel movie on Netflix. Has a one star rating, so I prepared for an awful movie.
It aint so bad.
Its clearly yet another low budget indie film but the time travelling storyline is actually really good and very neatly structured. Centred around a group of staff in an underground lab, working an experimental time machine.
What is really really really awful about the film is its dialogue and terrible attempts at humour. The lead characters are also not easy to care about and ridiculously act like high school kids. No doubt the main reason for its one star rating. But persevere with it and the film does reward with a pretty good thriller, an exciting action packed climax and a few twists to keep you guessing.

Netflix has a new time travel movie in its library and having watched it last night, its a damn good one.
Its a tense sci fi thriller with good twists based on the Groundhog Day" style time travel but with a more science fiction drive and a claustrophic air of suspense.
The finale may or may not be a touch wanting but the journey is definitely worthwhile.
I give it a 7.5/10

I also watched ARQ this morning. I didn't care for it so much. Just gave it a 6/10 rating on IMDB.Just a bit too many twists and turns for me to accept it as anywhere near believable.
Steam, normally a portal for playing PC games also stream films...albeit very low bugdet indie films as far as I can tell.
I discovered a time travel movie on it called
Magnetic
http://store.steampowered.com/app/440...
its 1hr 20 mins long...at least 1 hour way too long. The first half of the film is astoundingly tedious, only saved by a great 80 style soundtrack. Nothing much happens in the first half so I'm just listening to the music while a female protagonist is either driving in her car, walking through repetive corridors in a building or staring at thin air. Ridiculous pacing. I get art. I get cerbral but this is excessive and off putting. However, things pick up a little when certain mundane routines are suddenly broken half an hour into the movie.
The story is actually interesting, about a world facing extinction from a super massive solar flare eruption (a pretty real possibility) but this inadvertantly causes a science lab to go into a loop state for which the film's protagonists tries to break.
The female lead is monotonous and very amateurish actress, although probably fitting for her character, giving that she has to nearly carry the whole film on her own, she just dont have the chops for that kind of responsibility.
This is a very quiet sloooow burning movie which could have been a decent short movie short if it took its finger out of its pretentious ass.
So I dont recommend this film but it had a good idea.
I paid 71p for this crap and that was a sale price!

Netflix has another new release time travel movie called
The Man From the Future
https://www.netflix.com/title/80104067
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2027178/
Very entertaining! About a self pitying quantum physicist who is desperate to change his own past fortunes. The time travel mechanics and rules is giddily enjoyable and actually thought out very well. The refreshing thing about it is, this is NOT another tiresome loop movie. This is more of a Back to the Future "change whatever the hell you want" and create a new timeline type movie.
Warning, the start of the film is not great due to a very unlikeable protagonist scientist who filled me with dread. But stick with it. When the time travel begins, things transform throughout the film and becomes a very likeable movie.
Also, another warning, this is a Brazilian film, with subtitles but if you are ok with reading subtitles, have fun with this one.

This film is awesome and I agree that it has a very "Back to the Future"-esque feeling about it. I'm suspect to say, because I'm Brazilian, but this movie is really great! "O Homem do Futuro" (the original title here in Brazil) was very successful in my country. The soundtrack also is very good; "Tempo Perdido" ("Lost Time"), the song the main characters sing, is by a famous Brazilian rock band, Legião Urbana (Urban Legion).Plus, Alinne Moraes, the lead female character, is a very good actress, and is simply gorgeous!
Just watched on YouTube:I'll Follow You Down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LS_e...
Not great. Not bad.
After the disappearance of a young scientist on a business trip, his son and wife struggle to cope, only to make a bizarre discovery years later - one that may bring him home.
Mmm yes, we had a separate thread for this, last year or so as Nathan recommended it on Netflix (or was it Amazon Prime). I thought was quite superb and a passionate performance from a grown up Hayley Osment Joel.
In UK it is know as Continuum and was only available on DVD which I watched as a rental.
Pretty sure its youtube presence is not official, though, so might come down any time.
Here were other group members thoughts on the film:

I watched Another time travel movie on Netflix yesterday, called:
Joe Dirt 2.
If you love films filled with sex/toilet humour like some of the sort of films that Danny McBride and Adam Sandler makes, the sort that thinks they are so funny they allow a pause for audience laughter to simmer down, and a splatter of jokes only Americans can get, or the sort that throws political correctness out of the window....then you'll probably love/like this one.
I, on the other hand, am not a fan of this kind of comedy, although admittedly I have enjoyed some, much to my guilt! But the only reason I watched this was because....its a time travel movie!
I never seen Joe Dirt 1, and as far as I can tell, I dont think its necessary to watch the first one as this film seems completely self contained story-wise. Probably there are references but I wouldnt know.
This is basically, Forrest Gump meets Back to the Future done dirty humour style. The film follows the journey of an idiot who knows he is an idiot but does the best he can with life, telling his life story to a stranger on a bench (yep, that scene) which involves an alternate reality he had in having a sexy wife and 3 smart children who Joe Dirt thanks God from making them take after their mother. But then he finds himself gone back in time to the 70s before he meets his wife and tries to figure out his purpose and to ensure he doesnt botch up his initial "attraction" meeting with his future wife.
Its actually a very charming setup and the protagonist is very likeable! He's gotta funny bone. Played by David Spade who I'm guessing is well known in the US?
Oh and Christopher Walken appears in yet another small role in which he does an exaggerated impression of Christopher Walken! He also did the same in another time travel movie, Click with Adam Sandler.
But the film is just too stupid and self aware. Much of the humour draws a blank face from me but I did chuckle a few times which is more than other so called comedies.
You guys might love this much more than me if the comedy is your cup of tea (or I think in US you say "My bag of chips"?)
I will personally give this
2/5
If you do like this one, do also check out Adam Sandler's Click and Idiocracy, both being time travel movies. I recall Amy posted that she loves "Idiocracy" as while back.

Just showed up on NetFlix -- Naked (2017):https://www.netflix.com/title/80142058
Nervous about finally getting married a guy is forced to relive the same nerve-wracking hours over and over again until he gets things right on his wedding day.
Rob's madly in love and about to be married. Unfortunately, he's also naked, stuck in an elevator and caught in a time loop.
I have never heard the expression "my bag of chips." People is the US do say "cup of tea" as in "is is/not your cup tea."Tej, you crack me up.

It looks like a remake of a Swedish film "Naken". Both films are only 5 stars on IMDB, so they probably aren't that great. *But*, the new version, Naked, is one of the few time travel movies with a Black main character, so I'm glad to see it represented.
The only other Black main character I see on our list is Connecticut Yankee which I didn't know about, pretty clever casting. Deja vu with Denzel Washington is one of my favorite time travel movies, is that streaming on Netflix?
Deja vu is currently streaming on NetFlix. If you ever wonder about a movie, JustWatch is a good place to check:https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/de...

This movie has time travel, but the way it is conducted, it is a romantic comedy (of course), but it is also about personal growth! Do you agree?

I am Brazilian too :) and I am over 40. This combination means that I watched "Back to the Future I & II" when it came out and that grew up listening to Legião Urbana.
In a sense, I travelled back in time too when I watched this movie. is a huge iconic song in Brazil - just look at how many covers there are. Even the Argentinian rock band "Vetamadre" recorded the song in Spanish!
This aspect will certainly be lost in translation, but I am sure the song itself is powerful enough to stir up emotions even if you don't know all the lyrics.
Also lost in translation may be the bar joke about smoking, the 1991 cab driver not accepting 2011 money, and former president Collor (impeached in 1992) being lauded on TV in 1991.
The movie is definitely interesting for people who have an open mind about art from other cultures and for those interested in the language itself. I use it as material in my Portuguese classes at Carleton University and students love it!
I hope other people also enjoyed it!

Ok, Nancy! No more spoilers! :)
Just some background info - The song the leading couple performs on stage is one of the most emblematic Brazilian songs from the 1980s. It was recorded in 1986 by a band called "Legião Urbana". Its lead singer, Renato Russo, was a genius. But he died of AIDS in 1996 at age 36. This makes this movie scene extra powerful for Brazilian who were old enough to listen to this song when it came out. The 400 extras in that scene are singing from their hearts, even if most were too young to remember 1986. And the song makes a lot of sense within the context of the movie. If only all of this could be captured in the subtitles :)
----- Enjoy it whenever you have a chance! It's worth it.

I am glad you liked it, Tej.
I now use this movie as a teaching tool in my Portuguese course at the university. My students usually love watching it.
I watched it a few times already, because I had to analyze it for the original language content, for the cult references and for the lyrics in the Brazilian songs and, wow, it is very well put together. It's hard to imagine why it was not a huge blockbuster in Brazil (It was good, 1.2 million viewers in its first run - but it could have had up to 3 million viewers) but I have some hunches. One is that the theatrical trailer "sold" the wrong movie. The other is that many critics picked on the movie before even watching it and influence potential viewers in the first two of its 5 week run.
Anyway, it had a great vibe, great chemistry between the lead couple, and a very cool way of messing up the timeline.
Great pick!

Not yet...
I just watched Curvature - thanks for the heads up. My interpretation was that it was a theoretical mind-f*ck along the lines of Version Control and not for the casual viewer. A lot of screen time was devoted to issues of grief, too, that I thought was fairly well acted. I loved it.
