I love Calvin and Hobbes! It's so sad that it isn't recycled in my local newspaper. ='(

Oh! I enjoy reading these. My brother has a few of the large volumes that I steal occasionally! :)

Nice. I got some paperback collections from my dad for Christmas in 2007/2008 :)

Yeah. I bought some of those for my brother too three years ago or so. So I suppose it's not a big deal for me to take them! ;)

When I come home after being away, I'll text my mom (I live across the state from her), "I'm hoooooome!" and I immediately picture those moments in Calvin & Hobbes...

Only when I housesit... The dog loves me and sometimes leaps for joy (literally!), even though I'm not his owner. lol.

Aww! What type of dog is it?

An English black Lab... He has a big, blocky head, and he's very athletic... but he's 8 years old now, so he's getting a little bit on the older side... which makes me sad. I do not look forward to seeing him age.

My puppy dog just turned 7 the other weekend. It's not too excting.
He's a black lab/boxer mix.

Yeah... And while it's not old, I am at least partially aware of the signs of his age: difficulty with one of his back legs, greying muzzle, etc.... but he acts like he's still 2! lol.

I'm always sympathizing with the strip where Calvin's bed is holding him hostage...
