Fans of Interracial Romance discussion

I've got a book I'm working on and it feels like there are some things missing from it. But I have been working on it for so long I've become blind to whatever is wrong with it. Anyone want to beta read it? :)

The book is called The Time is Now and it's about two people who were in love in high school and then something pulls them apart. Fifteen years later they come together again at a high school reunion, and the feeling they have for one another are still there.
