For the writing comps what about choosing maybe 3 random pictures from the internet and asking us to choose one to write a story/poem about.
I have a suggestion~Maybe do a 'read for read' topic. It's basically where two people make an agreement to read each others stories, amd they each critique it. It promotes fairness, so if you do that, you at least have one person who read your story.
yay! Cuz I'm gonna have to work on it tomorrow...I won't have a computer for four days after that...so yeah.
hello!is it possible to like advertise my writing here? because im currently writing a story and its in Goodreads, and so far, nobody read it yet :(

I'm working on rewriting my novel chapters, so they're completely different from the chapters that I posted here. Should I delete the old chapters and replace them with the new ones?
A couple of times I'm posting stories here and I run out of room. This last time it was only several lines. I kept trying to make my piece shorter, but I've taken out as much as I can without ruining it. What can I do? Is there a way to increase the character limit? Or to post it in a different way so I don't have to worry about the limits? Thank you.
Well, I'm not so sure whether it's a Goodreads malfunction or not. But the character limit is 20000, so several lines would be able to fit in. How about you just type as much as the limit allows you to, post it, then continue writing in another comment? It wouldn't look as nice, but that's about all I think you could do now.

Sorry if I wasn't clear -- I meant that I exceeded the limit by several lines & I was trying to avoid having to use a second comment to finish the story. I just wondered if there was a another way to post stories on the website that didn't have a character limit. Sounds like there isn't. But thanks for checking.
