Tessaaa what did you think of it? I'm still only 1/4 of the way through and love the writing so far but it's so sad it can be hard to read.

Tessa Hey dear! I actually put it on because I just started it today. But I have read The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns and loved both so I am looking forward to it.

Brian (brianfinn) | 638 comments Nice! I'm eager to know what you think of it. I am only three chapters in myself, but I can already tell Khaled Hosseini has done it again. I just posted in the ch. 1-3 discussion - I'm so happy with how active the discussions have been for this month's read! jumping from less than 2000 to 3000 members in 3 weeks probably didn't hurt either.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Way to go, Tessa! You've read a lot of really long books this year.

What did you think of the The Wise Man's Fear and The Slow Regard of Silent Things?

Xinlin | 3 comments A tree grows in Brooklyn is one of my favourite books. Did you like it?

message 24: by Tessa (new)

Tessa Hi Cassandra! I was actually rereading The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear in anticipation of The Slow Regard of Silent Things, as the series is one of my favorites! You should definitely check them out if you're into the fantasy genre at all. Also, yeah, lots of long books this year. So I changed my goal to 20 in 2015 in to account for that habit. Thanks for checking in!!

I really enjoyed A Tree Grows in Brooklyn- I was on a bit of an historic fiction kick this year and that was one I was really happy I read. Good luck in 2015!
