I do have a question on this one - do we just have to read and comment on 12 this year in general or do we have to do one out of each month?
You can do one a month if you want, but the goal is just to read at least 12 of our group books over the course of the year. If you finish by March, then you finish by March.
I am in! I would say I hope we read some good stuff. But, come on. We always read good stuff! Woohoo!

I will change it to the actual book in the series as I get to it.
Ok, since a few people have sent me e-mails asking questions about this one I've included a list on the first post that I'll try to remember to update. The list includes all group reads we've started since January 1, 2014. Some books were still active in January, but started in December. I've listed them by series name, unless it's a standalone to be helpful since not everyone is on the most recent book.
So for clarification, do the ones that started in December but were still active in January count? And since it wasn't noted, can these be used in other challenges?
Thanks Heather that helps. Is there a limit to how long we can participate on a GR? Or is it simply open until the end of the year? My Linnet Ellery - Phillipa Bornikova books just came!
It was for group reads that started after Jan 1st. The only time you can use them in another challenge is when I post that you can duplicate for another challenge. I generally just add "this challenge only" notes to be more specific for you all, but I didn't really think about it much about it since I had a million other things going on. I'll go back and fix them all when I have a second. I'll write myself a note for my next day off.
As for time limits, it's best if you can read that month, but the library/money problem is a pain so you can read a book in May from a March read.
Ya, it was. I just forgot to change everything. I'm sorry. I've been on my iPad instead of computer and I don't like the goodreads app so I haven't been on as much. I'll try to do better.
Oh, no worries! I finally figured everything out. I'm trying to pick out which books I'll read for the month.
Ya. I figure that'll help most people finish this one. Plus, maybe we'll pick up a random one now and then. i want to the used book store today and couldn't find anything. Haven't found anything last 3 times. I'm thinking I'm going to have to stop taking credit for trading in my books. There's nothing I want to trade them for.

Ok! I'm in! Lets see here 12 books by the end of the year....In Janurary (when I was all pumped and I shall do all the challenges! I read
1.Linnet Ellery - Phillipa Bornikova
2.Jane Yellowrock - Skin Walker
3.One Foot in the Grave - Jeaniene Frost
And then February rolled around and I was all...probably not. I'll read Pride and Prejudice Fanfiction instead and read one book for challenge
4. Lynsay Sands A Quick Bite
in March I did read the Vicki Thompson Lewis Book,
5. Wild About You
In April I read nothing for this challenge (I was all Veronica Mars Veronica Mars Veronica Mars! And read every piece of fanfiction ever.
May I was still all about VM (why won't anyone update?! Do you hate me? Honestly, every time I start reading a PIP from a writer that used to follow a consistent posting schedule---they just stop. Conspiracy.)
June I started stupid school so in rebellion I read well...nothing for this challenge at all, actually. But, I read a TON to make up for the sheer boring-ness of my technology textbook. I'll check in again! Hopefully before January something or other when I suddenly remember--hey! I did that challenge!
You don't have to read them in the month they were assigned to if that helps Tya. Besides, I understand the VM obsession.
You know I was disappointed with the VM DVD, I thought there would be all sorts of extras on it, but there was nothing.
I know! I think the only extra on there was the behind the scenes kickstarter thing. I guess they thought that was enough. I would have liked to have heard what the cast thought of the last ditch effort to save VM by having Veronica work for the FBI--and firing a majority of the cast.

So you know, you can read the book that's posted or any book within that series. For instance, the new Jane Yellowrock book is coming out in January. If you haven't read the series yet you can read book 1 and comment on that. Or, if you're on book 4, read that one and leave a comment. You don't have to read all the way up to book 7 just to get the points.
