Reading Everything and Anything discussion

I put in for this book from the library. It might be in today but since we are having a big snowstorm here in Mass. I won't be able to pick it up until sometime tomorrow or maybe on Saturday.Has anyone else started reading this book yet?

I've read the whole series and the Heroes of Olympus and the Kane Chronicles and I adored the every book

That's great to hear Sarah! The book is definatly in but I won't be picking it up until tomorrow. I had to go to the pharmacy today but the roads are passable but not great. As much as I love the library I realize that there parking lot is not a huge priority. They are also off of a small side road that's not plowed very well. It will be there tomorrow when the roads are a bit better!

I finally was able to pick up this book. I started it last night. I loved the part where he destroyed his teacher. Oh I guess she really wasn't a teacher. Now his mother has dissapeared thanks to the "meaty monster" and Percy has arrived at the summer camp!

I can't put this book down. I'm now on page 196. Percy has gone out on his quest to help his father. Or is he really on a quest for that purpose I think there could be something else going on here!

This was a terrific book. Percy is a great character that is probably going to have to fight not only Luke but his own grandfather at some point! Once I got this book it took me only 3 days to finish it! Of course I'm not currently working so I've got some extra time on my hands.

It my favourite series of all time. I may be a bit obsessed.

That is saying something! I want to read the next in the series but, as many of us do, I have about 10 other series that I need to work on also!

Yeah I have read Twilight and I like the series but Percy Jackson is one of my favourites ever if not the very favourite.

Percy Jackson series is so good I love this series so much I actually love this more than Harry Potter (I know crazy right) I am a Harry Potter but Percy Jackson is much better. I wish I had this books when I was growing up. Lighting Thief sucks you into the series it's a great first book to the series.

I agree Simmi unfortunatly I have 9 other series to finish or continue on with before I should get to this one!
