Melissa Movie Challenge:

Read a book that has been made into a movie, then watch the movie!

1. Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle, #1) by Christopher Paolini Book way better!
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter, #2) by J.K. Rowling enjoyed Book and movie
3. Winter's Bone by Daniel Woodrell I liked the movie a lot, was really well done

5. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
6. Alice in Wonderland (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland #1) by Lewis Carroll Disney's version is fun but the newer version with Johnny Depp was a really good twist on the story
7. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card I liked the adjustments they made in the movie, I don't think the movie would have been as enjoyable if it would have portrayed the book to closely.
8. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger If I hadn't read the book I would never had understood the movie!
9. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak They did a very good job with this movie
10. Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth Movie so much better than the book!!
11. Labor Day by Joyce Maynard
12. The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom the movie was good but lacked some of the emotion of the book, I was crying by the end of the book but not as emotional during the movie.
13. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton the movie is fun to watch but the book is much more awesome!

Melissa Lea wrote: "Yeah, that looks fun. I might have to try this one. Have you set a time limit on this?"

The group it came from set it for the summer or til the end of the year if you wanted to. Option 2 was to take this quiz http://www.zimbio.com/quiz/QdSoY4-agX... then take your answer and read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with letters that correspond to letters of the word you get.

Thats a lot for the summer so I think I'll play with it through the year.

"Bleeding Edge" by Thomas Pynchon has several people who go home.
"Tooth and Claw" by Jon Walton dragon "fantasy" magic but no witches or wizards.
