Some of you might be a bit confused. So let me break it down for you without spoiling the books. For those of you who have read the books, there are a few changes.
1) Glade A is SPECIFICALLY for guy characters. Except for Teresa, everyone in Glade A is a boy. 2) Glade B is SPECIFICALLY for girl characters. Except for Aris, everyone in Glade B is a girl. 3) The maze is around BOTH glades. When trying to escape, you might meet someone from the other Glade. 4) An organization known as WICKED is using both gladers. What for is unknown. 5) Grievers will kill you unless you make it back in tim for the antidote. The antidote changes you, personality-wise. Parts about WICKED, the past, etc. are revealed. 6) There is a fatal, contagious disease known as the Flare going through the Scorch. 99.99% of the people in the Scorch have the flare. For a shortened version of what the flare does, it basically drives you insane, bit by bit. People who are too far gone that they have basically lost everything human about them are called cranks. 7) The elevator is where every new character starts out. Supplies are deposited through the elevator once a week.
