Well, I've heard this series is AWESOME but never got the chance to read it. What do you guys think about this series?

Love Lord of the Rings! Definitely worth the read. The movies are my absolute favourite and do the books justice.

I TOTALLY LOVED IT!!!! The Return of the King was the best book in the LOTR trilogy!! Absolutely pinned till the end. :) :p
In fact when the book got over, i was grieving, as to what shall I do, now that I finished it! ;)

This thread surely serves as a booster to my ever-decreasing interest to read LOTR..

Will resume reading the first book asap..

Ah, I will never tire of this series. The books are excellently written. The movies are fantastic. I can never be bored of LOTR.

I love LoTR, and I reread the books every now and then. Always thought them magical :)

I LOVE LOTR! I read it in 3 days in the summer *sighs*. I wish it was summer again, so I have enough time to reread it.

I have only ever read "The Fellowship of the Ring," and that was way back in public school. I fear the mastery of the series was lost on me, so I need to go back and read them now that I am an adult, and can fully appreciate Tolkien's vast imagination!
