Reyhaneh This is my first reading challenge year thing and I'm trying to read up to 50 books. Hopefully school won't get in the way.

I just wanted to know how many books you'll be reading if you're participating and if this is your first too. :)

(I put it under Ink by Amanda Sun because it's my first book if the reading challenge)

Michaela I'm going to go for around 25. Simply because I don't want to force myself to read books just to reach my goal and read books i dont want to waste time on.
I loved reading Ink! It's really good and I actually found out about the book a few months after starting Japanese language lessons so it was a cool coincidence. Good luck with your reading challange & happy reading!

I finished Ink and it was really good. The whole time I was thinking that it would be a really good anima. Also I find it so cool that you're studying Japanese, it sounds awesome.

Thanks and Happy reading too.

K Whatsherface This was my 12th book of the year. It was good. Can't wait for the next one. I'm trying to read 100. This my first challenge too. hope i can pull it off

Sati Marie Frost I set it for 300. Not sure if I'll make it, now that I'm reading big fat books as well as short ones.

The annoying thing about the challenge (and Goodreads in general) is that I don't think there's a way of logging a book twice. (It's possible that I just haven't found it yet.) I'm someone who likes to read favourite books over and over, so my "read in X year" lists keep getting shorter as I change the dates on books to reflect the last time I read it. At the end of 2012 my challenge said I'd read 175 books, but now it's down to 150-something since I've reread about 25 of them in 2013 or 2014.

And Ink was awesome. I just got it for Christmas 2013, but I want to read it again. I can't wait till book 2 is out (I think it's called Rain, and I think it's out in June). There's also a prologue, only available as an ebook, called Shadow. It's quite short, but worth a read - it gives a bit of extra background to the characters.

Yeah, there's no way around logging a book twice. This is my first time doing the reading challenge (set to 150 books, and it's a little difficult balancing school, but it's supposed to be a challenge), partly because I knew it wouldn't count if I reread books. I made a shelf for books I reread...so that I personally know that I read more than what Goodreads tells me I have for so-and-so year.

itsrainingbooks This is my first year doing the challenge as well! My challenge is set to 100 books and i'm pretty sure i can achieve it. I think this is my 38th book and i am still currently reading it. IT'S SO GOOD! I was worried because I saw a lot of bad reviews for this book but now i'm so glad that i picked it up. I think some people just need to have an acquired taste for some books.

Jelly224 I tried doing 25 cause i didn't think ill be able to do fifty. I ended up with 47 books and it's half the year is over. I guess I'll do a longer challenge next year

fiction.prescription I'm not sure, maybe 35? Not all the books I want to read are on the Summer Reading club list, which is a bit annoying.

I really liked this book. I want to read a lot of books too, I need to read more. I've been bad about it.

I've been bad with reading lately too. I'm in a reading slump right now and don't know what to do to finish my challenge because I seriously can't read anything.
