Great, Patricia! Put it on your calendar. I set an alarm reminder on my cell. Otherwise I'd never remember! LOL

Good idea. Currently my calendar just spams me with entries from my zombie book. It'll be good to use it to actually remind me of something. :-)

Has anyone started this yet? I wasn't able to start it and I don't think I will for a few more days. I'm buried in buddy reads AND I have family visiting from Oregon Saturday through Wednesday. I won't have them the entire time, but it will put a crimp in my reading time.

Hey, Vicki. Sorry about that! I'm here. Unfortunately, I'm going to start this read late. With Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans, it's really hard not to go to one. I'm behind, but I will eventually get to this read. Mardi Gras day is tomorrow and will be over, so, hopefully, I'll finish my other two books and start this one soon.

No problem, Silvia. At this point I don't know when I'll get to it either. I'm behind on my buddy reads and I didn't think anyone was reading this one, so I set it on the back burner.

I have read the first 5 chapters.

I was left with a need. (view spoiler)[ Early on, we were introduced to this magnificent man, Kael. Kael help Thalia escape the prison she was in. They were being tortured in this prison. Many had not survived. The reason for the torturing was because the Raven was looking for something or someone. Powers maybe? Not sure. Not a whole lot is known about him.

Kael was brillaint in masterfully tricking the guards in his death. He had something else planned for them. It was great. I really hope he's alive and comes back later in the book. It is unknown whether or not he is alive. (hide spoiler)]

Thalia (view spoiler)[ seems like she's a sweetheart. A little naive, but not gullible. She meet Joss when she floated down the river. Obviously he's one hot dude cause her eyes saw heaven. lol. I wonder if there's going to be a little romance here? (hide spoiler)]

I just finished reading chapter 10.

The story is getting good.

Joss (view spoiler)[ has spectacular healing abilities. He is so freaking nice. Too nice actually. Will he fall in love with Thalia or Syrani? (hide spoiler)]

Thalia (view spoiler)[ has found out that she has some sort of ability. It's not good though. It looks like these abilities could potentially destroy the denai. She found out because, while Joss was attempting to "heal her brain", she actually, without knowing, tried taking his powers away. Luckily, she managed to stop it before she completely took his power away. The council now thinks that she is a threat! Now she is to study to figure out how she can help the council. Raven & Sephori (view spoiler)[ Why haven't you made an appearance yet? What are you waiting for? Are you hunting down Kael and Thalia? Do you know where Thalia is? Did you use/follow Kael to find her? Are you the reason why she was attacked by those darn dogs that nearly took her leg off? (hide spoiler)]

Kael (view spoiler)[ I squeaked when you came back. How did you know where Thalia was? Did you follow her to the Citadel? Did you place her in the river knowing that these two Denai would stop to help her? How did you exactly manage to kill Scar Lip and run away with your life spared? Why are you running? Who are you running from? I need answers and I need to know more about you. (hide spoiler)]

yay! I finished. I really liked this book. I like where it's going. I will definitely read the next book. I have a lot of questions and I am so in need to know more about Kael. I can't take this guy out of my mind. hehe.

Looks like several of us never got to this one. I'm still hoping.
