is sad to know that 5 years passed...i think Happy and Ling knows He is alive... maybe He still is in business and want to protect AJ.
Hmmm maybe it's so sad how he's left it this long:(! I thought they knew it reminded me a little of crows row...
Yes 100% I agree it's a more raw and gritty version (no pun intended) it feels more mature than crow's row can you let me know if she gets back to you on a second book? I'm dying over here
i asked too along with praising her book but she kind of avoided the answer lol. there has to be another book, there is soooo much more to this story. if i were lexi id be pissed as fuck when he comes back....
I just finished RAW. And I'm not sure how everyone else feels but my heart has hit the floor. This story was so unexpected. I truly want a HEA for Lexi, Twitch and AJ. This was an emotional read. I hope Belle writes a second book to this. It definitely deserves one.
I kinda like that its a standalone with an open ending. Granted it makes me curious to know about what could or would happen if certain things came to light, & it just totally gutted me & left my heart on the floor; but at this point I'm satisfied with it.
Oh no:( that's a huge shame I don't think I can get over it being a standalone:(!I really thought when he said "you said you'd never leave me. And I'm holding you to that. Because when you're safe again, I'm coming for you angel"
Then she tells him she's pregnant and he says "then I'll come for both of you" on page 247
I really thought that meant more than the guy with one eye:(! I thought that meant that she was in more danger than that and that's why they couldn't be together because she'd be a target and so he stayed away from them both until the time that they're safe again... But I guess my imagination ran away with me ahaha
Just finished it today and was crushed when it ended. Maybe she will have a change of heart when she sees how much everyone wants a second book.
Renee wrote: "Just finished it today and was crushed when it ended. Maybe she will have a change of heart when she sees how much everyone wants a second book."I actually fear when this happens. Cos more often than not when an author chooses to have a standalone, but then is eagerly coaxed by their fans/pubs etc.. & they write a 2nd book; more often than not the 2nd book bombs horribly. At least this has been my experience this past year and a half with all these crappy sequels & trilogies lurkin about for books that were meant to be written as standalones.
I think that's why I'm fine with this book and the few other standalone/open endings I've read lately.
i was lucky to chat with Belle about this book. and if she doesn't feel it, she won't do a sequel just because.she may do a novella or something but not soon .

This makes me happy:) An author true to her craft. If she doesn't feel it, she won't go there. & that's fine with me. If she revisits, then it will be an authentic genuine work and not pressured & therefore crappy writing, cos many want a 2nd novel.
