Tell us about what you have overcome. This is a thread where you can just vent about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Share as much or as little as you want. Don't worry about being judged we are all going through hard stuff. We are here for you.

Or if you want to send one of the moderators your story if you aren't comfortable sharing with the whole group. I would love to get to know you all better.

Elizabeth A. Marks (ElizabethAMarks) | 4 comments Sydney what a great topic! Okay I have one. For the last few months I have been depressed, discouraged, and downright down, down, down. All because my work responsibilities changed, which is now causing me physical pain. I used to like going to work, but now I don't because it's painful. I've tried massage therapy and chiropractor. My desk is ergonomically setup. I'm getting plenty of rest and eating right. I had a MRI on which technician claimed "an unremarkable brain" so in other words it was good news there's nothing wrong. BUT I'm still in pain. I just want to curl up and die. I don't like feeling this way. My pastor shared a tip of journaling out my feelings and then replace them with God's Word. So I did exactly that this weekend. Wow! What a boost! I feel encouraged, but funny thing is the pain is still there. Yet God's Word tells me "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." So I encourage you to write out your feelings and find truths to replace them with. You might have to review your findings a few times to help your brain transition from old thoughts to the truth. Hope it helps!

That was wonderful Elizabeth. Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry you are going through a tough time. I am here for you always. And that bible verse "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" has gotten me through more hard times then I can count. Always remember that God will never give you a burden heavier than you can carry. You are so strong and I am glad you journaled it is good to write your thoughts on paper.

Elizabeth A. Marks (ElizabethAMarks) | 4 comments Thanks Sydney. I have always journeyed but this time was replacement therapy. Allowing God to change the way I thought about my situation really helped.
