That doesn't even sound vaguely familiar. I don't read King so I don't know if it's something by him.
It almost sounded like you were describing False Memory at first, but there wasn't a scene where she wasn't able to move off the bed or rip out the pages of the Gideon Bible, so probably not it. I haven't read much pre-1990 Koontz so I honestly am stumped.
I just found out that I have that novel on my kindle. I think I'll check it out. I'm still reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, too. I don't know where my head will be when I'm done with it all.
Well now I have to read that Stephen King book. I've read a lot of his stuff including the entire Gunslinger series but I am intrigued by this conversation, It sounds like those who say its King are positive. I've read three times more King than Koontz. It sounds like King.
Barbara wrote: "That is definitely Stephen King's book Gerald's Game.....I have read all of his books too!!!"Yep! It's definitely Gerald's Game. And for those who haven't read it; I'd suggest you take a look!
A very good book.:)

He insists this is a Koontz book, but to me sounds more "King like".
Can anyone identify this book?
Many thanks for any help.
