Hi Everyone,

I'll be honest: I really like this group. But I usually don't have much time to read everyone's detailed thoughts and reviews of what they're reading.

So I propose we use this thread to write haiku reviews when we finish a book. Short and sweet, but still fun. Don't forget to share the book's title and author.

Powerful story
For war takes a heavy toll
And raises questions

I think it took me as long to come up with the haiku as it did to read the book! :-)
I've never been very good at those. But kinda fun!

Haiku

Invest in middle
Class. Build a common purpose.
Friedman's dream was wrong.

Girl gone, but was she?
Much to uncover in this
Man-wife tete-a-tete.
