I had to finish typing it. ;) It's now linked in the first post.

You're welcome. :)
So, Wuthering Heights: I'd favour February sometime, myself. I'm anticipating being horribly busy in March and the beginning of April.

It's only one book, so I'm good whenever for that one. I'll squeeze it in. Mistborn, I will need more notice for. I want to give myself time to read the entire series.
I'd definitely be up for Mistborn at some point, I've read the first one before but wasn't blown away by it so a buddy read would be great as I would still like to read the rest but just haven't got round to it yet. Not in any hurry though so happy for this one to be further down the line.
I'm in for all of the buddy reads so far (how did that happen?) and I'm good with whatever and whenever.
I would like to suggest Heights in February and Mistborn in April. Or since LWW ends in March, we can read Heights in the beginning of April and Mistborn in May.
The former would work great for me. I'm expecting/hoping/praying to be in Scotland without much in the way of internet around the beginning of April.
For Heights, that is. I don't think I'll be in on Mistborn. :)

With all the talk of re-reads going on lately, it makes me wonder if I need to set up another re-read ban. Hehe
That works for me too, Nyssa. :)And T, Heights kind of seems like the perfect book to read in Scotland... though without internet it would be hard to discuss it. LOL
I did of course ignore that. 2012 was BRUTAL with no re-reads. I can't do that again. I might maybe MAYBE do a month or something without re-reads, but that would be about it.
Ahh, I see. Thanks. We're supposed to get up to a balmy 15 degrees today! I may break out the tank-tops.
I'll get to Mistborn one day. Totally NOT doing Heights but I'm doing either Don Quixote or The Divine Comedy sometime this year.
I'm in for discworld.
Okay, shall we put mid-Feb for Heights then, to break it up from the Feb group reads a little? Say, beginning of the third week?

I'd like to tentatively be involved in the Discworld read. And I'm going to try for Mistborn but list me as an official participant.

Never seem to fail at making me laugh during some point of the day! lol
Cool. :) I'll make a thread and add Heights to the calendar.
Have we made a decision on Mistborn as yet? I'd like to suggest Saturday, April 5th.
Plus, a couple of us would like to read Sherlock Holmes (in publication order) as well.

April 5th sounds good for Mistborn.
I would also be in for Sherlock Holmes. Most of the stories aren't too long so that's a good choice to read in between other things.
It's funny, I was thinking of reading Holmes when I'm done with Narnia. I have the same complete leatherbound edition as MrsJ and I've been looking forward to getting to it. I don't know if I'll be in sync with the rest of you because of my holidays, but I'll definitely discuss even if it's from memory. :)
Carrying on the Sherlock Holmes scheduling discussion, if we are doing publication order we would start with A Study in Scarlet (which in my copy is only about 86 pages), then The Sign of Four (about 54 pages) and then onto story collections which seem to be around 150 pages each.I suppose I would suggest doing one "book" per month as they're not that long and can be fitted in around all the other reading that people are doing.

I'm thinking it might not be until March at the earliest.
Fine with me! I will likely start this month because I am in the mood to and know myself well enough not to let the mood pass. :) But I am happy to discuss it whenever.
Yep, I'm in the same boat as Emily. :) Whenever's good.
Well, I personally, can't start this month. I know myself well enough to know that, but I'm okay with moving it up to February if you all are alright with that? How about February 2nd?
Cool!T- Can you please add Holmes - A Study in Scarlet - on Feb. 2nd and Mistborn - (The Final Empire) on April 5th to the calendar post, please?
Thank you!

I think the first Mistborn is called "The Final Empire"

I don't think I realised that the first book actually had a title for ages. I always just call it "Mistborn".
I would love if we could please start aVorkosigan Saga Buddy Read to coincide with our April BotM reading of Shards of Honour.

I think I may have the whole series, thanks to my hubby. He's been suggesting this to me for years now. A group/buddy read is a great way for me to finally get it read!

If you'd like to start a buddy read, post here and see who's interested in joining you, and use this thread to work out the dates.
When you have a consensus on what to read and when, please start thread for your read in the Buddy Reads folder. List the book(s) and dates in the first post, and I'll add them to the buddy reads calendar.
