The F-word discussion

With February's selections on deck, I'm getting started on the nominations for March selection early so we all have lots of time to get our hands on copies.

What do we want to read for March???

I'm interested in Americanah for fiction and The Means of Reproduction: Sex, Power, and the Future of the World for non-fiction.

I second that non fiction suggestion. It send very interesting.
Ill look up for something fictional tomorrow. Are we allowed to repeat old ssuggestions? Just curious

I loved Americanah and gave it 5 stars, but it is mostly about race and only addresses feminism peripherally, at least in my opinion. The main character is a strong woman, though, and would probably call herself some version of "feminist".

I'm not sure if everyone realizes that there are currently two March polls going on. I had to click on "Polls" up at the top right of the home page in order to see both of them. There are some great books there to choose from!

I knoooow there doesn't seem to be a way to get both on the main page, just one. *shakesfistatgoodreads*

You might get more participation if you sent an email to the group with links to the two polls. A lot of my other groups do that.

The fiction poll is currently in a 5-way-tie! Anybody feel like changing their vote?

I don't mind changing, but I think one of them is in the lead now anyway? Not too sure as I can't see the poll, but I had a peak at how people had voted.
