Writer's block?
Need new material?
Tired of the same old names?

Here is a spot to post up a bunch of names - from different languages, both first names and last names - that others can use to create characters with.

Post below!

talltyrion | 708 comments I actually use the same three websites for all of my character names. One for first names that I discovered years ago in, like, sixth grade, one that lists surnames from most common to least common, and a random name generator website (I got the idea from the Hybrids and Mutants roleplay here on Goodreads). I keep them all in a file called Writing Help.

I also use random name generators, and sometimes just google 'girl names' or something that would suit what I'm looking for.
Whenever I find any interesting name while doing these searches, I write them down in a list. Here's a few (Feel free to use):

Girls:
• Clara
• Delta
• Emery
• Iris
• Kyra
• Levi
• Lexi
• Piper
• Skylar
• Terra
• Tyri
• Wren

Boys:
· Asher
· Bryce
· Channick
· Chase
· Connor
· Devon
· Eric
· Farrow
· Gavin
· Kyran
· Oliver
· Payton

Thanks for such a wonderful offer, Ana!

Do you have a fantasy-esque name/s that begin with W, male or female?
