The arm that wasn't holding a seraph blade gestured to Aly. "My intention was never to hurt anyone. You did this. I am not the enemy!" Nik shook his head. "I am not who you should be fighting against."

She'd just assumed that he had been ignoring her, but it was soon made apparent that he hadn't actually heard her warning due to the fact that he was passed out on the bed. Shirtless. Having his older brother back must be taking its toll, which was understandable. It made complete sense that Saige would be tired and exhaustion usually led to sleeping. Shirtless. Suzanna really shouldn't have been so caught off guard. She had seen plenty of guys shirtless, including Saige. But there was just something intimate about seeing him like this. He was in his room, why would he bother with something so bothersome as a shirt? He looked so peaceful, nothing like the sarcastic jerk he was at school. Of course if he knew she was standing there watching him, he'd probably go berserk.

Yeah, he probably wouldn't appreciate that Suzanna was standing there, watching as his rather nicely sculpted chest rose up and down slowly with each deep breath he took. Or taking in the way his slightly disheveled hair curled around his forehead. Or wondering what he was dreaming about as he shifted slightly in his sleep. She hadn't considered until that moment how creepy standing in someone's room and watching them sleep was. She could only imagine what Corey would think if he walked in at this moment. Suzanna took a step forward and tapped the touch pad on Saige's laptop, curious to see what he had fallen asleep doing. Pictures, she should have known. She closed the laptop before it fell off the bed and set it down on his desk. She decided to take a short tour of his room. No looking through his drawers or under his bed or anything intrusive like that, she just wanted to get a sense of the kind of guy he was. Of course she knew him, but they hadn't been close for a long time and she felt like there was so much about him that he didn't let her see.

Such as his beautiful bare chest. No matter where she went in the room, Suzanna's eyes were constantly being drawn back to him. It was kind of ironic actually, there was definitely no sense of magnetism when they were both awake. She knew that they had gone their separate ways a long time ago, but she couldn't help missing her best friend a little sometimes. Part of her wished that they could go back to being comfortable around each other, carefree and relaxed, like he was now. But she knew that wasn't going to happen. She might as well just stop wishing for things that were impossible. It was time for her to wake up and stop dreaming.

That also meant that it was time for Saige to wake up. She went over to the bed and shook him gently on the shoulder. "Saige? Saige wake up," she said, trying to ignore the smooth skin under her fingers. It was just Saige, he wasn't some untouchable god. It was just a shoulder for goodness' sake. (hide spoiler)]

Ares crouched down low, then sprung at Jace, tackling him to the ground. "Stop!" Jason yelled in a commanding voice. " No one has to die here today, there are to many of us for you to fight Ares!" Jace struggled under the weight of the werewolf, getting his gun to a good spot, he fired at Ares's right bicep, but Ares sprung back, dodging the bullet. Ares pounced on Kitty, and just as his claws touched her throat, He howled in pain. Jace stood behind Ares, with his sword stabbed 3 inches into Ares's left leg. Ares spun around, lashing out with his hand, he struck the right side of Jace's head, opening five gashes.
Jace fell backward, the sword falling from his hand.
Jason picked up a sword that was laying next to him, and attacked Ares, slashing at his midriff. Ares dodged, then clamped his teeth down on Jason's arm, breaking it. Jason screamed in pain, dropping the sword.

Cecilia payed close attention to Xavier's words. They were simply just amusing and wonderful. She hadn't met a young man of such words, or courage. Well in all honesty, she had not met many boys in her life before. Having lived in an all girls boarding school in a very remote area where the nearest sign of civilization was a two hour drive away did not leave many opportunities to interact with anyone save the girls and teachers present at the school. Life really was dull for her and this music competition was her first time away from all that. She hadn't expected it to be as exciting as it was now, but she was enjoying it. So she took full advantage of this encounter.

So far she liked everyone at the table, however quiet or talkative they were. They all seemed to be kind enough, each of them seemed to have something to contribute to Xavier's conversation. Violet seemed to have the best responses. She was very witty and clever seeming. In more ways than one she was very much like Xavier. If she didn't know any better, she would have thought them to be close relatives. It was unusual how alike they were.

Then there was that other boy Preston. He seemed very much like herself. Quiet and soft spoken. And he was quite handsome and had a decent sense of humor. She was surprised when he said that he was dyslexic. He seemed rather intelligent from the way he spoke. Actually she really didn't see him as any less intelligent because of his dyslexia. She found it rather inspiring how he didn't seem to let being dyslexic bring him down and found comfort in the arts.

And then there was McKenzie and Alton. Uptight, formal, serious. Not contributing anything to the conversation unless someone asked for their opinion. They looked as if they were only pretending that they were even mildly interested, though she could tell they were miles away, lost in other thoughts.

Hearing Xavier's comment on how they should all dance, drew her attention even more. Cecilia just loved dancing, especially ballroom dancing. She couldn't help it, but her heart skipped a beat when Xavier said he wanted to dance with her. Though she blushed when he provided his reason. She stood up after him and took his arm, waiting for his to turn and lead her to the ball room, but he was watching the others. Probably to make sure they went as well.

Xavier stood there, watching and making sure that they all got up. Counting the time in his head, secretly wishing some of them didn't get up. Unfortunately, Violet and Preston did. Oh well there went that opportunity. Xavier turned his attention to Alton and Kenzie, waiting for them to get up and go. At the moment, Alton was up having offered to take her to the ball room.

Kenzie had been paying attention to the conversation from a distance. Like she was looking in through a window or something like that. She was too zoned out to even tell. All she could think about was how her mother hadn't shown up, and probably wouldn't even mention the conversation when she went home. Yet still find a way to complain about how "out of touch" her music was.

She was brought back into reality when she heard the sound of the chairs moving against the floor and hearing Alton's offer at a dance. She looked up at him, then around to see Xavier watching them closely. She knew it was probably her best interest to dance with Alton. Giving him a smile, she took his hand and stood. Kenzie didn't bother to check with Sutter knowing that her instructor would only disapprove. Kenzie already felt Sutter's eyes burning holes in her back, slowly burning through the fabric. This would not end well when she went home, she thought as she walked into the ballroom with Alton.

She noted the satisfied smirk on Xavier face as she passed him and Cecilia, who followed behind. She felt as though she were walking to her doom. In a sense, it was true. The most awkward of dooms, but it was her inevitable doom either way.

When she reached the ball room, she found that Preston and Violet were already there, dancing a slow waltz. There weren't many others in the room, so they had more than enough space to move around. Taking her position with Alton, she started to dance with him as well. She kept her gaze around the room, observing any one or anything else that wasn't Alton. Kenzie had absolutely no idea how to act at the moment, or what to say. And it seemed as though it were the same for Alton.

What were they supposed to talk about? The competition? That would only him rubbing her defeat in her face, even if he didn't say it directly. Perhaps the after party? Or their awkward encounter before the show? Future competitions? No. No. And no. There really wasn't anything for either of them to say. And she was perfectly content with their silent dancing.

Unfortunately for them, Xavier was not. Xavier having noted that neither Alton nor Kenzie were speaking, decided to waltz over to them and suggest a few conversation started. Cecilia followed his lead, understanding, but not fully expecting, what exactly was about to take place before her eyes.

"So, you guys seem to be awfully quiet. May I suggest a few conversation starters?" Xavier said as he and Cecilia danced around them. "Perhaps the weather? Eh, too boring. Favorite movie? Food? Music? Color? How hot I am? How great I am? How hot and great Cecilia and I look together? The fact that maybe you two should just hook up in a corner behind the corners somewhere because deep down you two have feelings? The possibilities are endless." Xavier said with a smile. "And if you don't, I stay true to my pants'ing promise." He said innocently before waltzing away.

Kenzie looked after Xavier in a 'what in the world are you?' kind of way. "That boy is something, with the nerve he has." She said, slightly to herself and slightly to Alton, as she returned her gaze to his waiting for his input. (hide spoiler)]

Before him life was very black and white; wake up, school, work, maybe go to an exhibit, then go home. It was like a clock and then out of no where this man pops out and he fell in love. That certainly wasn't part of the plan but trust him when he says he did no mind a single bit. After that it seemed life was finally in color and he could paint his own future, with Kisa. There was no reason for her to try to hide them from him, it was too late for that anyways, and even if she did try, he would simply stop her. It would have been a little odd to her possibly, but Arrow really liked her hair. Yes, yes, strange. He knows. No, it wasn’t gay, a straight guy could admire a girl’s hair because it was a part of her beauty; long healthy hair appealed to him, which was natural to some extent. Right? Arrow paused for a moment, but pushed those thoughts to the side to focus on other things instead. Things such as her scent.

Wait, what?

Well, it wasn't that strange. After all, Arrow was very close to her in the physical sense in that moment, so it was only natural to catch a whiff of that sickly sweet smell of hers, which he kind of liked though he would never admit aloud. The closer he was, the more he was intoxicated by it, surprisingly enough. It was sweet, no surprise considering she was the brotherhood's personal sugarplum fairy, or at least that was how he saw it. Arrow was sure that there was something dark inside her, but he had yet to actually see it for himself, and until then, she was nothing more than his wholesome little kitty cat.

Keeping his arm around her, Arrow pulled her a little closer to him so that his chest was flat out pressing against her back. And there wasn't an ounce of shame weighing him down for his actions. He knew better than to tease a girl like this whilst alone in a room in an old building; however, it was all much to fun that there was no way he was going to stop anytime soon. Instead, another idea came to mind. Slowly, he pulled away from Cat, but he didn't move too far from her, not wanting her to relax right away because he was evil like that. He removed his arm from around her waist to pull off his mask again, setting it beside the keyboard face up before placing his hand back on her waist, his fingers brushing against the soft sensitive skin right below her stomach when her shirt rode up a little. The warmth of her skin against his cold fingers made him want to do many naughty things to her.

'I really need to have sex already. Need to focus again on what's important. This girl is not important. One good one night stand should make everything all better again.' Lincoln agreed with his brain, however he doubted that this little kitten was suited for a one night stand. Nah. She was probably the kind of girl who was in it for the long haul--something Lincoln had no interest in. Another girl perhaps? Linc would have to wait and see. But right now all he wanted to do was have some fun with Cat right now.

Openly smirking, he placed his lips by her ear and whispered, "Is that so Kitten? Am I allowed to find out? Or is it some big secret?" Tauntingly, Lincoln gently rubbed that little bit of skin that was exposed to his fingers, not quite venturing further under her shirt like most guy would because Linc was still a gentleman...sort of. In order to make the group better, I could add topics, crack down on rule-breakers, approve characters, and basically do whatever it is that needs to be done. I'm very much a perfectionist so everything has to be just about perfect for me. This doesn't mean I have overly high expectations, I just like to get things done in both a well thought out and efficient manner.

It was early morning by now, Orion thought, as his eyes opened to a ray of luminosity cutting through the dim surroundings. This was confirmed by the chirping of birds in his ears and the resignation of soft morning breezes as they rippled through the leaves. The harsh light of day had not yet shown itself to the groggy elf as he slowly sat himself up, his eyes wandering around his surroundings. The place gave off a mysterious air, eerie in it's composition. It wasn't like anything he'd seen before, though this was a foolish observation on his part as he soon realized he really hadn't seen this place in his life. The trees were unknown to him, the chirps of birds not registering with him. The grass underneath him, this evergreen pigmentation, how had it gotten there? The last thing he remembered was...

Nothing.

There wasn't anything there. There was no recollection of how he'd wound up in this place; no remembrance of his life before this. Orion couldn't remember his family, he couldn't remember his friends; nothing. He was alone, both in this forest and in his mind. What there was to be remembered wasn't a thing as he slowly stood up from the reaches of the ground, his hands brushing himself off from the dirt that clung to his trousers. The pants were a dark brown coloring, ones that looked to be plain in apparel. His shirt as well, a light white color, was nothing special. It appeared as though he were a simple being, brought up with little and born with no name. Well, at least that was one thing Orion remembered about himself: his name. Orion Arvel Hale. It was odd, he thought, that he had that recollection. One would think there would be nothing to remember at all if he couldn't recall his own heritage. However, there it was: bright as day in the emptiness of his mind.

Eyes still focused on his person, Orion noticed something else that was to be noted of his appearance: a belt wrapped 'round his shoulder harbored a peculiar sheath, one of royal blue pigmentation with the scrawls of Elven tongue accenting its worth. His fingers took the scabbard from over his shoulder, holding it out in front of him as though he were offering it to the tree standing before him. It was heavy under his fingertips, giving way to the thought there may be a weapon concealed within its holdings. With trepidation, Orion's rightmost hand clasped the hilt of the sheathed sword, pulling it out from the concealment it laid within. The scabbard lightened without its weight, dropping from his grasp as he equipped the large weapon. A Claymore, one of silver composition glistened in the light as his blue eyes glanced over it. Something about it sparked recognition in the dark hair boy's mind, a hint at something more than the eye could see. What that recognition was, Orion wasn't sure for it slipped away in the solace of his mind, never to return. However, it had been there; he knew.

As he carefully slipped the sword back into the dimness of the scabbard, Orion let his eyes fall on the material just a little longer. 'Forsaken one' the Elven text read, a hint that Orion couldn't comprehend. It didn't make sense to him. However, what did click in his mind was that he could read it. Elven, he could read Elven tongue. Hand replacing the scabbard in its rightful place, Orion's fingers tentatively made their way up to his ears: pointed, just as he'd suspected. With a sigh, he closed his eyes for a moment. With all the knowledge he'd just gained, Orion was still unaware of his location and his past, though there was something there to be learned. In time, he would figure out the secret of his past and find out who he was. But for now, he had to keep thinking, keep learning. The answers would come to him in time. But until then, he'd just have to keep looking. (hide spoiler)]

The mystery girl raised an eyebrow, which was a skill Colin had always coveted. Whenever he tried, it ended up looking stupid instead of cool. Her words shook him out of the less than conscious thoughts and Colin's lips turned up at the way she asked her question. Maybe she wasn't as young as he thought--the girl could hold her own. Or possibly, his short stature made him less intimidating than other people. Colin wasn't oblivious to the way she looked surprised at his lack of height. He would be lucky to be five inches taller than her.

"I asked you first," Colin rubbed the back of his neck at the less than stellar comeback. Seriously it had just been the first thing he could think of though. "But I suppose you're right." Colin could have easily lied, said it was a half day, made up a doctors appointment, anything really. But he didn't. Lying was just something that Colin only did to protect people he cared about, and she wasn't on that list. Admittedly, it was a short list.

Colin shoved his hands back in his pockets, looking at some random stranger instead of the girl. He didn't expect her to explain herself anymore. Not when he clearly hadn't explained himself either. Colin ended up focusing on the loudest person around; A little girl in a pink dress and red shoes banging her fists against some guy's legs, untill the guy gave in and handed her some candy. Snotty kids were almost everywhere you went, and the parents almost always gave in. Colin would have mocked the little girl instead, sitting next to her, and poking at her legs just to show how annoying it could be. But then, he'd never had a sibling, and Colin had never learned much patience. (hide spoiler)]
