It's already January thirteenth??? It feels like the early days of January to me. Something tells me that the year's going to go by fast.

That makes me wonder what I would do if time were frozen. I can think of tons of things to do, but if it actually happened, I wouldn't know what.

I have to agree. If time were actually frozen I would probably be wondering and focused on when it would start up again too much that I wouldn't get anything done lol

Lol I know right!! What if's are really awesome things to think about until it actually happens and you're like, what now? For example, I you got a million bucks(I wouldn't mind this happening), or if you could read minds.

Yeah! Exactly! I read this book series called The Sookie Stackhouse series and she can read minds and after going through seven books of seeing her read minds it's safe to say I never want that power! lol

Isn't the True Blood show on HBO inspired by that series? It was on display at FYE the last time I was there. Lol, true. People can think of anything when they're never going to say it out loud.
City of Heavenly Fire's cover is finally revealed!!!!!!!!!

Gabby: Yes it is! But the books are much better :) The t.v show was very accurate the first season and then it kinda went downhill sadly. They started revealing things too soon and they went off plot a bit but they picked really good actors to play the characters! I saw!!!

I've seen that happen for the second season for Tsubasa. But the voice actors were amazing, and no one could've been better for Fai's voice than Vic.

so glad to see that, and to me, it does gets better and better.
i disliked the first part of the series, and yet oddly I started to love it in City of Fallen Angel - I know, tons of people hated it, maybe I just love the way Clare's writing has improved.
this might not be my favorite series, I certainly have the Infernal Devices to top that - in case how good TID was is what prompted me to keep reading TMI, clare has not disappoint me so far.

GOD! the cliffhanger! trust me, my friends and I had been discussing about it - and all the spinets - and came up with tons of possibilities. wonder what clare meaning it as 'saddest happy ending' too...

Worst and least case scenario, Clary and Jace die together, resulting in a "happy" ending. People dying isn't happy, no matter how romantic it may try to be. But it's gonna be six people who'll die. I hope Alex isn't one of them.

Just read one of the saddest book endings EVER. Though it was a death ending, I found this ending beautiful and so freaking tragic. But it was beautiful. Does that make sense?

That makes perfect sense! Sometimes tragic endings can be beautiful depending on how it effect the characters :)

Hopefully, 2014 will be a great year for books to movies. After all, the Divergent movie is coming out:D

The Maze Runner movie is what I'm really excited for!

I think they've done well with Divergent, The Maze Runner remains to be seen, and as for VA, I think it's going to be more of a cheesy comedy really.........:/

I'll have to read The Maze Runner and probably buy the book before the movie comes out. I like books when they don't have the movie poster on them. I'll have to read and watch Ender's someday. I have this feeling that VA's gonna be a letdown, since I love the books, I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but to feel some doubt for it.

I'm really worried about Vampire Academy :/ That's my favorite YA series and while it looks like they cast people pretty well it looks like they killed the story and the plot, no pun intended lol

Yep, I agree either with Meghan. I'm okay with the person cast for Dimitri, though. He's pretty much the only cast member I'm okay with though:/

Lol, I'm okay with it because he's actually Russian. I'm the kind of person who would like to see cover models be the actors in the books movie. I can tell that the direction wants the movie to have a Mean Girls feel, and not like Twilight.

I agree Hannah :) I've had that happen a couple of times where I'm like omgsh this guy is going to be beautiful and then they cast him and you're just like what?!? that's not what I pictured at all! :(

I had assumed by the way that Richelle Mead talks about it on her blog that they were at least doing the first three... I could definitely be wrong! lol but the way she was talking about it made it sound like they were doing at least three

lol I know, I just hated saying was with tv shows, it makes it sound like it died or something. I haven't seen the last season yet because I watch it on Netflix :)

Living Violet Giveaway

I just noticed this goodreads giveaway and wanted to personally raise awareness about it. I read the series a while back and really loved it. A great paranormal YA series with no vampires, no werewolves, no casters/witches, and no angles. I won't give it away, but I think this is a little known series that more YA lovers should read.

If it's a manga, I'd recommend Dengeki Daisy. Hmmmmm, for a book series I think Angelfall is good. I think I heard somewhere that the main character's funny:/ Sorry if this isn't much help.

I recommend the Legend series! or Throne of Glass :)
