What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited for it to come out?

The trailer looked really bad :/ Nothing like the book.
I don't like the casting either...

I saw the trailer first too XD And I didnt want to read it after, but I was forced to...And it was actually pretty good! The spinoff series, Bloodlines, is even better IMO

I got the book from the library so I'll probably start reading it next month

I don't like the casting, especially the actresses for Rose and Lissa. Zoey just isn't how I expected Rose to look like. At all. The trailer makes the movie look like it'll be your average high school movie, which isn't a good thing.

I'm trying to read the books before the movie comes out. The trailers I've seen weren't award-winning, but I'm interested enough that I will see the movie.

But I think Gabby's right about another high school movie. It reminded me of all those CW/ABC Family previews that come on TV. Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, etc. And I don't watch those shows.

Did they move up the release date for the movie by a week? When i first saw the poster, it said the fourteenth, but the trailer on the tv said the seventh.

@Gabby Same here. I thought the earlier commercials said Valentine's Day, but IMDB is saying the 7th.

@Jennifer Apparently they moved it up. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing:/

I know it literally just came out, but I was wondering if anyone has seen the movie yet?

I haven't. I'm afraid to, after seeing so many bad reviews. I read one that said that it was worse than Mean Girls. The Lego movie has made a lot more than VA did.

Oh no. I haven't read any reviews. That Lego movie looks terrible. That does not bode well for VA.

It doesn't, indeed. I don't know who I should see it with. That racy scene in the voice would probably give the people I go with try wrong idea about the whole entire movie. Maybe I'll watch it at home when it comes out on DVD.

Part of me thinks the movie is a DVD movie (not worth the $10 to see in theatre) but I don't want to wait that long. Conundrum.

It's always expensive to go to the movies. *mumbles* Eight bucks for popcorn, plus drinks and the eight buck tickets.
As a fan, I feel guilty since I'm trying to not watch the movie so soon.

Exactly. I want to support the franchise (or at least the book) by seeing the movie, but I still don't know if I want to see the movie.

and MIA seriously????? she looks like a sociopath (even though she kinda is....)!
i thought they cud have chose better cast....
i havnt watched the movie yet so i donno weather it is up to the mark like the book... I LOVED THE BOOK AND I WISH THEY HAVE DONE JUSTICE TO THE STORY..

The movie comes out to DVD on May 20th.

I really liked the book. I have not seen the movie, but I saw the trailer for it and that was good enough for me. It looked horrible it looks like a chick flick vampire stupid movie and the actors were not to my taste.
