Me neither. I wasn't a big fan of the book....and It seems like a movie would be boring.

Yeah, it was well written, and that about it.

Javaria | 30 comments The book was amazing, but I saw the trailer and was disappointed and don't wanna smudge the good memory I have of that book by watching this. The actor playing Augustus didn't really fit the role for me. Also is it me or could they have passed for siblings?

I liked the book.... the thing abt books is that u imagine them to look and act in some way and the movie is a different interpretation all together as it is in the point of view of some other person..... thats generally why if u read the book and watch the movie its gonna look lame.... i mean I've seen the trailer and i was literally LAUGHING.......Hazel is portrayed kinda desperate and i feel the time she says i am GRENADE in the book my eyes were welling up but in the trailer I was laughing sooooo hard

message 8: by Caru (new)

Caru I don't like the actor who's playing as Gus that much :/

Minda~Quenn {Somehow I found a way to get lost in you} I think that it was a beautiful book and the movie was just as heartwrenching.

Audrey (audreybooklover) I really like the book, it's amazingly well writen and the characters were to my liking. I saw the movie, and thought hey did a really good job on it. The casting was so good!!! Ansel Elgort as Augusts was really good, and Shailene Woodly did a really really good job at being a sixteen year old girl, she did Hazel justice!
Hey did cut out a few things from the book, and a few characters. But in my opinion it was really good for a book to movie adduptation. They fouls have done a lot worse, and hey used direct wording from the book. So it was really good in my opinion.
