Nice blue and bronze couches, curtains and rugs. Lots of book shelves. A perfect place for a Ravenclaw!

Amelia walked in amazed. " This common room always amazes me. " she says to herself.
Rae walked to the entrance of the Ravenclaw Common Room, she waited patiently as the bronze knocker on the door in the shape of an eagle said clearly:
"If a tree falls in the Forbidden Forest and no one was there to hear it, does it make a sound?"
Rae rolled her eyes at the easy thought question."Of course the tree would make a sound. It's as if you're saying, if somebody in Saudi Arabia is talking on a muggle phone in a room by themselves, and you're in for example, Australia, does the person alone in the room make a sound? Well obviously and theoretically, of course that person does. And that reasoning would be the same for the tree."
The door swung open immediately after Rae gave her answer. Rae stepped into the common room.

Head Mistress Alia Locket walks into the common room "Hi,I'm not sure if you guys liked the new decorations we hung up." She said trying to get a opinion from a student.
Amelia was sitting on the couch reading ' Hogwarts a History '. She noticed a girl come in, she looked up. " Hello. " She said looking at the girl.
"Um, hi."Rae nodded before saying the head Headmistress,"They're fine."
" They're wonderful, thanks." Amelia said to the Headmistress. She returned to her book knowing Rae wouldn't want to talk.
"Ok,I just wanted to get a opinion." Have a nice day. She soon went off
"Bye."Rae said as the Headmistress walked off.

Cassidy walks into the Ravenclaw common room with her nose halfway into The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 4) by Miranda Goshawk which is required for all 4 years.
Rae looks up as a girl walks in
Cassidy not watching where she was going walks right into a lamp, but catches it before it falls. "Pardon me, sir." She says not glancing up from her book.

"What?" Cassidy looks up and sees a girl, but not one person is even close to her. "Oh umm who did I knock over?" She says turning looking for the person.
(I do that all the time, too!!)"Oh. Really?" She says surprised. "They must of rearranged the furniture! I was a champ at reading and navigating my way around last year!"
"Yeah.."Rae said, not knowing what exactly to say.

"Sorry, I should introduce my self." She says. "I'm Cassidy Spears the Seeker, also in my Fourth year here at Hogwarts." She holds her hand out.
"Uh, Rae Hawthorne."Rae nodded, but politely not shaking Cassidy's hand. Rae absolutely despised any physical contact with other people for some reason."Oh, I recognize you from quidditch practice. I'm one of the beaters..and in my fifth year."Rae added.
"Oh yea! I remember you!" Cassidy realizes and puts her hand down not really caring about the reject. "You hit Slytherins keeper in the face last year, right?"
"Yeah."Rae almost smiled as she remembered that day.
"Haha." Cassidy smiles and hesitantly puts her book down.
"The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 4) by Miranda Goshawk." She says smiling then adds. "I'm going to start reading 'The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection' after this"
"Ah.."Rae nodded."So are you reading them for class or just for..fun?"
Both? Most kids thought Ravenclaws loved studying and got perfect grades because they were smart, but Rae hated studying, and didn't get perfect grades."Oh, both..interesting."She nodded."I prefer muggle books."
"I love them all. Not meaning to be rude or anything, are you...umm you know..muggle-born?" She said not meaning to be rude, just being the nosey girl she is.
"Oh..." She trails off. "What are those thingys that talk to you when you talk to them?" She ponders her.
Yea that!! It's really cool!" She stands up.
"Yeah, I guess. Do you take Muggle Studies?"
"Ah. What are you learning about right now?"She asked, slightly curious. She had thought about taking Muggle Studies, but decided not to.
"Well I'm going to take a nap, I'm exhausted." She says. " I'm taking Astronomy, Charms ,Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology! History of Magic, Potions! Transfiguration, care of magical creatures and muggle studies!!" She says before going to the dormitories.(Sorry I have to go :( )
