The editions are combined, but both of them will remain in our catalog. Users should be able to shelve exactly the edition which they have read, including cover.
That's fine Cait. Maybe you can help with this problem.I am having a very odd problem.
I had a new edition of my book added, combined and have able to set it as the default edition. But there seems to be a problem with the Listopia section that maybe someone here can help me out with.
I have added the new version of my book to a few lists, but they are not showing up on my book page. However, when I search the lists that I have added it to, I find it listed there. Here's an example:
Here is a list that I have added the new edition to:
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...
There's my new cover edition at #223. My old cover edition is at #21.
If you look at the book page:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
It's not listed in any lists.
Can someone help me out with this?
Thanks in advance!

Khalid Muhammad
I believe that while combining editions will group together reviews and ratings, it will NOT combine listopia entries. Consequently, the new cover edition will not replace the old cover edition in any lists.
I was asking why the new cover edition doesn't show up in the lists that I have added it too, not if it would replace the old cover edition. I have not problem with the old cover being in those lists, but when I add the new cover edition to the same lists, the list does not appear on my book page.
I think it's just the caching on the book page -- new list additions will take a few days to show up. If you click through, you can see that the new edition is on a number of lists:https://www.goodreads.com/list/book/2...

The primary edition is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
The old edition is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Can someone more talented than me do this please?
Thanks in advance!
