What a backdrop for reading!
Finished two more books
A Highland Home by Cali MacKay ★★★★ and
A Highland Heist by Cali MacKay ★★★As usual my reviews are on my blog
Another book finished and some might question why I have added this book to the Scotland challenge.James Herriot aka James Alfred "Alf" Wight was born in Sunderland England so what has that to do with Scotland. His mother had recently moved to Glasgow and chose to go to Sunderland to give birth. She went back to Glasgow when Alf was 3 weeks old.
Alf left Scotland when he was 23 so to me he is Scottish.
It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet by James Herriot

He's a wonderful storyteller. Now I know why, he was raised Scottish!
One of my favorite books that i read to my kids was the herriott treasury of animal stories for children. It had beautiful pictures and i think i enjoyed reading it as much as my son did.
The "Highlanders" are some of my favorite characters to read about. I am having difficulty finding books that are not soley romance. im definitely going to check out what has been listed above and will take any recommendations! thanks so much

Another book finished and that concludes my 8 Highland book but I will move on to The Hebridean: 9-12 books
Drip Drop Teardrop by Samantha Young An okay book, but not great. Avery is dealing with Death, who is a person. This is a romance as he has loved her for years.
I have more of Samantha Young's books and I might read them.
As mentioned in the above post I have now finished the level of Highland and will move on to Hebrideanmy Hebridean posts
