Jane | 24 comments Another book finished and some might question why I have added this book to the Scotland challenge.

James Herriot aka James Alfred "Alf" Wight was born in Sunderland England so what has that to do with Scotland. His mother had recently moved to Glasgow and chose to go to Sunderland to give birth. She went back to Glasgow when Alf was 3 weeks old.
Alf left Scotland when he was 23 so to me he is Scottish.

He's a wonderful storyteller. Now I know why, he was raised Scottish!

I'm not much for romance either Beth. You might want to check out this Memoirs of a Highland Lady

Jane | 24 comments Another book finished and that concludes my 8 Highland book but I will move on to The Hebridean: 9-12 books

Drip Drop Teardrop by Samantha Young Drip Drop Teardrop by Samantha Young

An okay book, but not great. Avery is dealing with Death, who is a person. This is a romance as he has loved her for years.
I have more of Samantha Young's books and I might read them.
