TAP IS BEST! TAP IS BEST!Unfortunately here they do the "American pour" (tipping the mug to minimize agitation and, thus, foamage).
I prefer the Dutch trick of frothing that bitch up and then cutting off the head with a knife designed for that purpose. You get it without the foam but while the bubbles are still crazy. The smell of it invades your aura and soothes the eyeballs. Others become better looking before the first sip.
The less I say on this topic the fewer bruises I'll receive.

O'Hara's Irish Stout is pretty good as is Victory Donnybrook Stout if you want to keep it Irish
No I agree. I'm poor enough a student to drink Bilge Light. But it's fun as with books to flex an elitist grammar of objets.
Never buy it in bottles - especially if you are in North America. Tap is best, Can is not so bad. Coldness is vital.
