Ashley | 4 comments Hi! I'm Ashley, 30, an EMT from rural Pennsylvania. Earning my BA in English felt like a big graded book club, and discussing literature is something I've missed since college. I don't have many friends who read, so I'm super excited to have found a book club!

I enjoy reading literature from around the world, particularly from the Middle East. I also enjoy literature from different eras and I'm not afraid of a little Middle English! I try to stay up to date with contemporary literature. I can't wait for GRR Martin to release Game of Thrones book 6 - although he seems to be content with letting me wait. I'm open to reading books from genres I don't regularly read.

With my job I have plenty of time for reading & can't wait to start with February's reads. See you in the discussion threads!

Hi Ashley Welcome!!! WOW you have both a demanding and fulfilling job. Those I live with don't read either so I am glad my former classmate started this book group.

I have not yet read any of the Game of Throne books but after all of the hype I may have to!

Welcome again!!!

Oh no you guys, another book to add to my growing list of books to read.....I just counted the books on my phone. They total over 200! Granted I have read some of them, but damn! I better get busy! And, of course, I keep getting lists every day of new books that I want to read!
