Second was okay

I'm reading the third

message 6: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn (chloewalcher) I think the movies were ausome

message 7: by Laura (new)

Laura (blueeyebooks) I loved them all so far! I've seen all of the movies and I'm just starting The Order of the Phoenix now. The movies were really exact on pretty much everything. I can't decide if I like the shorter books (1-3) or the longer books (4-7) better. They're both equally awesome to me.

message 8: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn (chloewalcher) Yup so far I love the third

message 9: by Laura (new)

Laura (blueeyebooks) Are you finding it helpful to have seen the movies first? I love that I watched the movies first for most of the book but in the places it's different, I can't imagine what's happening in the book. Otherwise, it really helps me visualize everything.

message 10: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn (chloewalcher) I actually do the opposite reading the books first then the movies but I get what you are saying

message 11: by Laura (new)

Laura (blueeyebooks) Ah yeah usually I do read the books first but my family was having a Harry Potter marathon and I just couldn't turn it down! i'm sort of regretting that decision now...

message 12: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn (chloewalcher) LOL

message 21: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 551 comments I re-read the series at least once a year. It's not my favorite series of all-time but it's extremely well-written. It always grabs my attention. I always laugh/cry/yell at the same parts. Not many books can have that claim.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

@Jennifer
So true! I only re-read my favorite books and Harry Potter series is one of them. But I found that once you read a book over again, you find some thing new! :-! And then I wonder : How the hell did I miss that?????? =-O

message 23: by Evelyn (new)

Evelyn (chloewalcher) That's another true fact
