Cathy said,"Kyle. Destiny has the clue. And now so does Maddie."

"Great." Kyle said sarcastically.

((Should we skip to the forward and have them back at their home?))

Cathy whispered,"And Dean too."

((*sigh* Okay, how? Because Logan had the key, and she couldn't of gotten it without that, and I had a plan, but...))

((THEY DIDN'T FIND THE CLUE!!!!!!! DESTINY DID!!!!!!!!!!!!! MADDIE SET ALL THOSE UP AS TRAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! oops. that wasn't meant to come out....))

Isabella turned to Fredrick, "So now what?"

((Okay, I'll just do it here...))

Gaby and Logan joined a tour group going inside the pyramids. "Wait until we get to the Queen's Chamber," Gaby whispered to Logan. "That's where the entrance is supposed to be."
"Welcome to the Great Pyramid of Khufu!" exclaimed the tour guide. "One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World! It's 756 feet long on each side, 450 high and is composed of 2,300,000 blocks of stone, each averaging 2 1/2 tons..." He went on to tell them more facts about the pyramid. After what seemed like forever, they were in the Queen's Chamber.
Gaby and Logan slipped into the shadows as the group passed through the chamber. When the group left, Gaby started to walk towards the west wall. Logan followed her.
"Search the walls around here," Gaby said, lighting a match to see better. "This is where the scientists thought there was another room."
Logan nodded and took out his stone. Gaby took out her paper. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers over the wall. Suddenly she felt it. "Logan! Over here!" When he came, she grabbed the stone and pushed it into the square hole she had found. There was a creaking sound, then the wall beside them moved to reveal... a small dusty corridor.
"This probably leads to the King's Tomb!" Gaby said excited, and started to crawl through.
"Yay, what could be more fun than creepy dead Pharohs?" muttered Logan as he followed her.
After what seemed like forever, the short tunnel came into a big room. "We're in the chamber!" Gaby nearly shouted. "In the middle of the pyramid! So that means the theroy must be right!"
"What... theroy?" asked Logan, confused.
"The theroy about the way Egyptians used to build pyramids!! The thing scientists have been argruing over for years! See, they didn't carry the stones straight up! They carried them around and around the pyramid, leaving a empty space in the center!" Gaby lit a candle and pointed it up to the cone-shaped ceiling of the room, which got smaller and smaller until it reached a point. "...So, this is where the clue is!"
Gaby shone the candle around the room. In the center of the hidden room was a long golden box. "...And, that's Khufu."
"Look at this!" Logan ran over to the box and picked up the small blue box that was sitting on it. Slowly, he opened the box and picked out the piece of paper inside it. Gaby brought the candle closer so they could see what was written.

Destiny has the clue.

"Destiny!" Gaby said sourly. Then, there was another creaking sound as the door slid back into place, and Gaby's light got blown out.

((Ooh!))

"I don't know, I guess do some research wait for the headquarters to say more... probably a 6 months before we get the next clue." Fredrick sighed.

((GVP~ Yeah, I thought that Kyle could be visiting Cathy or something...))

Kyle got tense. Double Great.

Back In Ireland

Cathy was laying in her bed. Her shoulder was patched up, but it still hurt if she moved the wrong way.

"Oh, yeah. Nana Grace would like you over for supper sometime." Kyle said.

Cathy nodded. This was the first time she ever let anyone in her house. It was a nice house, but there were blood stains in every room, and all of the mirrors were broken. She sighed.

"Awesome."

Cathy sat up. She looked at him. It was really awkward between them now.

"Okay... well I better go. My curfue is 8. Bye." Kyle said getting up from a chair.

Cathy said,"Later."

Destiny looked around. She muttered,"Stupid Madrigals."

Maddie looked at Dean and said,"She knows the clue. All we have to do is make her talk."

Kyle walked out the door, he drove back to his grandparents house.

Cathy closed her eyes. She went to the bathroom. She inspected her reflection in the broken mirror.

Cathy took note of the scar running down her cheek. No one could see it unless they had really keen eyes. She brushed some of her long black hair from her face. Her dark green eyes were just boring green today. Her face was pale, except for her rosy red cheeks.

"Great" muttered Isabella.

((they're all home....))

Cathy sighed.She went downstairs.

Maddie watched Destiny.

It was silent, except for Logan's beating heart that he thought might explode. He heard Gaby take a deep breath. "Okay. We can get out of this."
"Please don't tell me that was your last match," he said slowly, not wanting to know the answer.
"Um... it was."
Logan swallowed.
"It's no biggie. I can call for help." Logan heard Gaby rustle in her purse. Then silence.
"...W-what?" Logan said, again, not wanting to know.
"It's not there."
Logan checked his pockets. His phone was gone too.
"They must have fallen out or something," Gaby said, trying to stay calm.
"That's not really easy to believe when you're in a hidden locked room in the center of a pyramid with a dead-"
"Okay! I get it!" Gaby cut him off. She took another shakey breath. "There has to be a way out of here."
"No, there's not. That door was the only exit," Logan said.
"Thanks for the help!!!!!"

Destiny glared.

Kyle sighed he drove into his Grandparent's drive way. His grandma was in the land carrying a birthday cake with Kyle's name on it.
"How's Cathy?" Kyle shrugged he went over to his grandma and helped carry the cake inside.
"Okay I guess. I think she is worried about Destiny, her sister, she hasn't had any contact with her for... i think months now."

Cathy sighed. She lay down on her bed. She felt tears roll down her cheeks.

Gaby put her hand to her forehead. "We'll get out of here, we just need to think-"
"We'll never get out!" moaned Logan. "We'll be stuck in here until we die of-"
"LOGAN!"
"Oh, right, got it, not helping."

"Is she coming to your birthday party?" Kyle's G'ma asked.
"I might," Kyle said. "I invited her over for supper, I don't know what day yet."

Cathy sat up and wiped away her tears. She got up.

Maddie said,"She's been here for a long time! She's already 14! And so is Catherine."

"If we feel along the walls, maybe we can find another corrider," Gaby suggested slowly.

Cathy went outside without getting a jacket. She shivered and ran into the woods.

Kyle set the cake on the dining room table. "Hon, can you go get some fire wood?" Kyle muttered "sure." He walked outside to the forest behind his house. He grabbed an axe and started cutting a tree.

Cathy was running. She ran to the lake. The only peaceful place she knew.

Maddie said,"Destiny must have told Cathy about the clue." She turned to Dean and said,"You know what to do."

Gaby squeezed Logan's hand. She hadn't even known she had been holding it.

Fredrick looked at Isabella. "Let's go home."

Kyle heard some noise down by the river. He walked closer to the noise.
