I was told I could nominate a book for December and I HOPE this is the correct place or suitable place to do that. Figures of Earth by James Branch Cabell is one of my ten favourite books, and hardly anyone has ever heard of it. This book deserves a reading. It is similar to a Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin.

I have read 16 of the books so far. I hope to read more this year.
So, we have repeats of Jane Austen and Ernest Hemingway. I'm looking forward to Charles Dickens. I've read only a couple of his books.
