Sheri Pretty Maidens All In a Row by J.M. Brown J.M. Brown

Genre: Psychological Thriller
Page Count: 221

Book Description:
Mary Elizabeth Grange, also known as Beth to her friends, is little more than a child when she is noticed..

Her lanky, developing body and her childlike ways do nothing to dissuade his hungry eyes and his needy imagination. She glides through life happily, doing what happy teenagers do, but to him she becomes everything. Every flip of her long curly ebony hair, every smile, every gesture speaks to him as he quietly moves in the shadows, for no one ever sees him. His small, inconsequential world narrows even further, real life recedes. Fantasy, like a blazing fire consumes him.

Then their worlds collide in one brutal and obscene act as he brazenly flings reality aside and allows the delusions to totally devour him. Her world destroyed, Beth must fight for her very sanity.

Then at the farthest end of her nightmare and many miles away, happiness and love are finally within her reach. Much to her bemusement, she starts to receive flowers from a secret admirer. Things start to take on a darker tone and she senses anything but affection from the gifts being left to her.

But how can this be related in anyway to the vicious serial killer in her home state who is killing women that look so much like her? The answers will only be attained if she dares to fight the biggest battle of her life.

message 20: by Merenda (new) - added it

Merenda (merenda88) | 20 comments I would like to read the book! I TRIED to make request, adding to the others, before the 10th request. But, the site did something stupid making me go to several different pages and NEVER let me get back to the "request" page/area. I now have been sent the messages, a person's page count.,etc... IN/ON my GR's circled "G" (next to msg/mail), making it appear to be a "new book in my reading list" OR notice of 'new" entry for a drawing. I clicked on that and it brought me here- to msg's YOU have gotten! I don't know what's happened or going on?

Anyway, I would LOVE to read the book, IF you still are still accepting/under the 10 that have signed up? If so, my info is below. If not, then thanks anyway. My info is below, just in case.

Thank you!

message 26: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments yes, JM, I will. I posted a nice comment a few days ago abou the quality of the books I've received from making connections, but I did not know where to post it. So, it went somewhere around the beginning of the whole thread, and was certainly unread. Where can you ;post something meant to be read here?

message 27: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments I'm not sure Anne but maybe if you contacted the moderators they would be able to tell you. Here's one of them. https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/4...

message 29: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments put it another way, I would like users to see it. I found it, but it would be great if 1,000 people here could read your novel and other one are great. That is what I don't manage to do...

message 30: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Maybe this would be a good place to introduce yourself and talk about novels you like. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments I sure would love for 1000 people to read the book.

message 33: by Anne (last edited Aug 17, 2015 05:58PM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments yes, so do I, because it is worth it. I'm tough with my marks, many books get a 2, a 3 is not bad, 4 means I really liked it, and it even has the little special jenesaisquoi which attaches you to it.
If I could get my blog to really start, thereadingcats, blogspot.ca or .com, It would give me more freedom to push books which deserve help, but I don't have enough people I know.

message 34: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments I'l try to ask.

message 35: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments I'm willing to work with you on your blog if you want. I'm going to start my own blog as well. I'm going to research how to get followers. I can do an author interview or anything you would like.

Anne are you looking for a place to talk about the books you have read you could start a new thread and post it under the topic Book Talk!

message 37: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments That could help a lot of self-published authors.

message 38: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments ok, I'd be glad. I posted a comment in "making connections", but it went unread. I reviewed some of the books.
About the blog, Jm, we have the same problem. Beginnings are not easy!
I'm going to look for Book Talk... If problems, I'll be back in five minutes.

message 39: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments Where will I find book talk? I briefly went to most of the topics Ii could think of, but no "book talk". Could you guide me? Many of the books offered for free reading are great, as good as their big brothers with great publishers, and it would be lovely to give them a bit more fame. Just tell me where, please.

message 40: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments I think Tana may be suggesting that you start your own thread or group for that matter and call it "Book Talk." I could be wrong.

message 41: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments The offer is still open for anyone to receive a free formatted copy of my novel for review. By the way I have a new cover. A bit more professional. This author is still growing and learning. http://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Maidens-...

message 42: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Anne. Create your own group. https://www.goodreads.com/group/new

message 43: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments I tried, but you need a specific name. I created one, but I can't even find it. There are 260 pages of book talk... I'll look better tomorrow, and see if it is somewhere.

message 44: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Thank-you James. I'll look him up.

message 45: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Anne. You can call it something else if that name is used already. Like "Books that should be a movie" or something along them lines.

message 46: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments yes, I'm thinking... Booktalk is an entire chapter of goodreads. You have thousands of groups with booktalk. I'm trying to find a name like "unknown books deserving to be known better" but shorter...

message 47: by Anne (new) - rated it 3 stars

Anne Martin | 94 comments books deserving to be famous?
books not read enough?
something around that

message 48: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Either one would be ok for a new group. Or Books that should be best-sellers.

message 49: by J.M. (new) - rated it 5 stars

J.M. Brown (janbrown) | 37 comments Would you like a copy James?

message 50: by Tana (new)

Tana (tana_t) | 14676 comments Mod
