Fantasy Book Club Series discussion

Has anyone read the The Corean Chronicles - by L. E. Modesitt Jr. i have bought the first book in the series and i wanted to know if it was any good ?

I remember enjoying the first one, but I never bothered to pick up the others.

please people id really like an opinion on this im stuck if i should read it or not ?

The average rating for the books is about 4 (on Goodreads) and stays within 0.1 at that number from volume 1 all the way to volume 8. (Excepting volume 4 which got a 3.86). So it sounds like every volume is about equally good. So read the first one and see if you like it. Obviously a lot of people did.

Thanks i think im going to give The Saga of Recluce a go first that appears to be the first series.

corean chronicles first 3 books are excellent the latter ones not so good.
