No, no, I pronounce Ice as ice not ays. You can actually hear the I in ice, e is a silent vowel, c brings kind of the s sound. So Ice and Est is very close, because the both have that S sound, so that's why "Rhapice" it sounds like the most horrible people in the world. But you may talk different wear you are.
