I have a Dover Thrift Edition of this book it had 166 pages is this book ok to read for this session.

Are we all trying to read the same edition? There are very significant differences between the 1818 first edition and 1831 revised text (which Shelley edited to be much more politically conservative). They're both published nowadays with the same title. Are we all going to read the same one or read whichever edition we happen to have?

I was actually not aware of this until now. I think it's a bit late to tell people which one they should get though :(

I had to re-read the prologue several times before anything sunk in. It's really weird. The letters are okay.

I too have been struggling with this book. I'm not sure if it's the letters or the actual chapters that don't seem to make sense. I have found the connection between the letters and the chapters confusing. I am hoping that things will explain themselves better as the book goes along.
