Post Your Facebook Page!
Great idea Tammy. Thanks for liking my Facebook page for my book series. I will list it here again for others. https://www.facebook.com/dragoninmyga...
Wondering if I should have one as an author too or not. hmmm...
I went with keeping my personal facebook page private, and then a public one as an author with just writing related posts. If interest grows in Stranger's Dance then I might make a page dedicated to it.
Hello everyone, and thanks Tammy. I have liked every page above this post. My page is at: https://www.facebook.com/NikoBloom
It is still new, and admittedly I spend a lot more time on Twitter, but I look forward to seeing everything you guys do.
*Cheers*
I'm also more into Twitter than Facebook. Yay! Lot's of new stuff to like. Here's mine: https://www.facebook.com/akariagale
Thanks Tammy. Good idea revitalizing the list. Here's mine. I tried to like everyone that has already posted pages. Hopefully I didn't miss anyone.

I have a writer's website, so I didn't bother with a FB author page. Instead I decided on a different kind of fun Facebook promotion for my novel:https://www.facebook.com/worldtimestorm
I've liked all the above, although, Lisa, I couldn't open yours.

I welcome everyone to post to my page :) Leave your face page link and I'll like you back :)https://www.facebook.com/Sexanddesper...
I set up an author page but neglected it for a month or two and when I came back they had switched it to a regular page. I tried switching it back but was never successful so just went with it. Feel free to friend at https://www.facebook.com/belle.blackb...
I'd hate to burst your bubble, but trading likes on Facebook is a bad idea. As an author it hurts your ability to be seen. Watch this video and it explains how Facebook's like system really works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVfHe...The most important info starts at the 4:20 minute mark.

Thanks for sharing, but what I got from it is as long as we are liking our fellow authors' pages and staying engaged, i.e. liking statuses and posts, it will help to boost the exposure of the posts because FB will then broadcast them further to more people. Or did I not understand that correctly?
Whatever the case, I am genuinely enjoying seeing what my fellow GR authors are posting on FB. I hope anyone that liked my page is feeling the same.

"Dante wrote: "I'd hate to burst your bubble, but trading likes on Facebook is a bad idea. As an author it hurts your ability to be seen. Watch this video and it explains how Facebook's like system ..."Trading 'likes' isn't a bad idea. The key though is that you have to be willing to be actively engaged in each other's posts. Social Media only works if you're engaged, not if you just post and do nothing to enhance other people's profiles.
What he's saying is don't buy Facebook likes. Collecting likes organically from those who will engage with your page is a 'good' thing. Buying them - you don't really know whom you are getting.
What is most important is engagement. You must have engagement to be seen. You must have fewer people doing things that will work against you - like saying they don't want to see what you have to offer on their newsfeed and fewer people unliking your page.
So the key is - Only like my page if you find benefit in it and will engage in my posts. Do not like my page just to get me to like yours.
I only follow those whom I deem as valuable and so should you. Don't try to game the system, don't try to build a social media or SEO ranking fast and by cutting corners - the only thing it will do is get your profile flagged as not valuable.
I work for a review site similar to GoodReads. What we look for is not the amount of traffic that came to read the reviews but how many viewers engaged by clicking to contact the company or find out more about them. It's the engagement that is valuable.
Check out my social media and follow me if you think you'll get value from it.

Hi everyone. Just a reminder for reciprocal 'likes' on Facebook to work, you have to remain engaged with the pages you liked. That means when you see posts from other pages in your newsfeed, continue to like the posts as well. Otherwise, this is a wasted effort. By liking posts, you help boost the probability that Facebook will disperse the post to more people.
